The Skaket Beach Motel is just the best there is. The people are great. The rooms are always neat and clean, they are also very large and comfortable. They have everything you need for a great stay in Cape Cod. The pool is just wonderful! There are tables outside and a grill to cook on if you like. They also have a laundry room. Wow could not be better. Love it there!

Rooms clean and neat. Cleaning staff did very good job during our week there. The grounds are well maintained and lush. Close to great variety of dining options. Location excellent for beaches, baseball, and shopping in Chatham, Harwich, Eastham and Wellfleet. CVS and Shaws right across street. Lovely pool, but we hit beaches every day this year.

They just shouldn't have been taking guests. We were on the Cape to prepare a house for sale and wanted to stay elsewhere. There was not much open. This place it turns out had been open for only a week and shouldn't have. First we get there, the office is closed and have to use a phone to call someone to check us in-no one answers. It is late afternoon. So we are thinking about plan B. Then he shows up. Pleasant enough. No continental breakfast as they just opened. OK fine. Then the internet isn't working. We have to call the number again. He said it is a weekend so it won't be fixed till maybe Tuesday. We needed the internet and it was challenging to do what we needed to on our phones. We were checking out Monday. When we went to shower we realized that there was no hot water. Pretty unpleasant. Called the number and left a message. No one ever answered, called back, could be found and the problem was never fixed. We might have asked for a discount for all that was lacking if we ever saw anyone. I will say the rooms were large, comfortable and very clean. But no hot water. I can't think of when I ever experienced that in a motel. I see many good reviews so this place is likely fine in season but you don't want to go early on as it may not be fully functional and they will take your money anyway. I was just down there two weeks ago and thought of our experience and thought I should write this review. If you go early in the season check for the internet and hot water before they take your credit card.

We stayed a weekend here recently and loved our find with this place and the price point. Its perfectly located to both bay beaches (Skaket and Rock Harbor) and the Atlantic side beaches (Nauset). Close to Nickerson State Park and Rail Trail access points. It had a nice pool. A plaza across the street has a Shaws supermarket and liqour store. Rooms were meticoulsy clean and serviced during our stay. The owners put out fresh muffins every morning with coffee and light contential flare. Ground were kept nice as well. We would definetly stay again and recommend to anyone looking for a mid-cape getway.

We had a wonderful stay at the Scout Beach Motel. The rooms were very clean. The beds were comfortable. The owners made our late check-in seamless and easy. We will be back next year. Thank you for everything.

Hidden gem in the Cape. Convenient to the highway and grocery. Near downtown Orleans. Very clean room, fresh remodel. Maid service and clean towels daily. Breakfast muffins are nice. Spacious room with 2 queen beds. Love the window in the bathroom. Clean pool, great for kids. Priced well.

We were pleasantly surprised! Our room was very clean. Not a speck of dust and no sign of previous guests. The lines and towels were clean and crisp. The property is landscaped very lovely with hydrangeas and hostas blooming during our stay. The proprietors were kind, helpful and friendly. We wish the Skaket In continued success!

Updated and just lovely! Our room was so clean. Beds and pillows were very comfortable. A perfect place to stay in Orleans and is central to many great activities! The morning muffins and coffee were simple but delicious and very much appreciated. The owners are very nice and helpful too! We enjoyed our stay!
