Location convenient to the freeway, but on a busy street that was difficult to return to after finding a local restaurant. The atmosphere was clean and quiet. The value was good. Parts of the room (bathroom doorknobs) weren't clean, but the rest of the room was clean. The breakfast was very lackluster - no whole grain breads, muffins, or cereal, no fruit except unappealing "Delicious" apples. The hot breakfast was basic hotel sausages, big glob of scrabbled eggs, and a fresh waffle station. Very underwhelming food choices There was a lovely view of Utah Lake from the room. This was a one bedroom suite, so there was plenty of room. The bed was comfortable. We traveled with a cat; they should make a broom and extra trash bags available to travelers with pets to make clean up easier.

Our room door did not lock. We could deadbolt it at night, but during the day we had to remove our valuables each time. We reported it to a very young employee at the front desk who verified the issue, but did nothing to resolve the situation at all. I feel like we should have been moved to a new room, given a refund, or at the VERY least an apology. But no response at all from the hotel.
