Nou drie dagen voor aankomst mijn aankomst tijd gemeld en een bevestiging gekregen. Vliegtuig was op tijd maar niemand op het vliegveld, locatie vliegveld security heeft voor me gebeld.(mijn telefoon werkt hier niet)Toen melde ze dat er aan kwamen. Nou jongen verontschuldigingen te over maar goed. Op naar het resort,,groter dan ik had verwacht. Een zeer ongeïnteresseerde dame heeft me uiteindelijk ingecheckt, met hulp van de chauffeur. Die wat vriendelijker bleef. Resort is werkelijk prachtig en van alle gemakken voorzien, tennisbaan, voetbalveld, midgetgolf en een uitgebreide duikshop-school. Een prima restaurant Breeze voor ontbijt en diner, sommige dagen in Bobbies. En een fantastisch aangelegd prachtige park tuin. Had bungalow 403, niet groot, schijnen ook grotere te zijn, misschien mensen een upgrade geven? maar alles er op en er aan. ,(beetje omgeving schoonmaken) Prima bed en lekkere badkamer. Het enige nadeel vind de mensen niet zo aardig, beetje ongeïnteresseerd. ( Behalve mijn kamermeisje,,vrolijke dame) Was er in februari maar erg druk vond ik het niet. Mijn was laten doen, prima. Heb ook via de receptie een historische tour geboekt leuk en een eiland tour goed om een prima indruk te krijgen over het eiland. Maar zoekt u rust,,relaxen en lekker eten een absolute aanrader. Resort leent zich er uitstekend voor. St Eustasius go to Golden Rock Resort.

This property is breathtakingly beautiful. The staff is so friendly. The food is very good and the rooms are top notch. It is by far the most tranquil place to stay. I felt comfortable the moment I arrived and any needs are attended to. The pools are beautiful as are the gardens all around the property. They truly take pride in all that has been accomplished with more coming. There is an amazing dive shop and staff, pickleball, tennis, mini golf, spa, yoga pavilion, gym and fitness center. I can’t wait return and to bring friends and family

The Golden Rock Dive and Nature Resort on Sint Eustatius is, for us, the hidden gem of the Caribbean. We have rarely experienced such warm hospitality. The manager made sure we lacked nothing. At the Breeze restaurant (what an interior!), we were thoroughly spoiled, with vegetables fresh from the garden. And then our apartment: a stunning view, tasteful decor, and a blissful bathroom. Everything was more than spotlessly clean, with an abundance of luxurious towels. Additionally, the lush, architecturally designed tropical garden, covering about 20 hectares, was a true paradise. The vibrant flowers, along with colorful hummingbirds and butterflies, were a feast for the eyes. Although we're not divers, diving instructor Sjouke took us on a snorkeling tour, where we spotted turtles and even a 17th-century cannon.

This resort is very beautiful and quiet. I suggest to further the staff training particularly in directly dealing with customers. We had to call and asked to pick us up at the ferry even though I scheduled it before I even arrived. The front desk told me the housekeeping comes every other day. I told her it’s unacceptable considering being a luxury resort. They accommodated my request. The service isn’t bad but it just needs more training. The Breakfast portion size is NOT enough. No yoga instructor for the whole week that we stayed. We couldn’t get in the spa unless we book the spa separately.

Beautiful plantings (thousands of tropical plant varieties!) and physical property. Lighting enhances the grounds at night. Unfortunately, no beach. Nice views from all rooms. Food is well presented but did not blow me away. I like how music also is played along the walkways. Two nice pools, good workout room, sports courts. Mini-golf could use some maintenance. Staff is pleasant but not terribly organized. Loved our little cottage. Nicely decorated. Had to go to town to do a beach scuba dive because the onsite scuba shop couldn’t accommodate us, unfortunately. I enjoyed my stay here. It’s the best property on St. Eustatius.

Magnifique hôtel.
Le personnel était très gentil et accueillant, mention spécial pour Jeneille à l’accueil.
La chambre était très spacieuse et nous la trouvions digne d’un hôtel 5*.
