Ramada by Wyndham Newburgh/West Point

Okay for the price on weekdays but too expensive on weekends for what you're getting very dated hotel been here alot always have to check and make sure nothing broken before I bring anything to the room cause usually something is

Do NOT, I repeat do NOT stay here. The absolute WORST hotel I have EVER been. There was 1000 percent questionable activity happening outside... The room had a water stain on the ceiling, smelled like b.o. The front of the door had painters tape as the room number. The front door had broken glass covered with some ghetto tape. The garbage was not cleaned out the tub and the door inside the room had paint peeling. It was just a horrific experience not to mention the front desk was behind bulletproof glass for a good reason.

Save your money, look elsewhere This hotel is clearly being remodeled. The hallways smell of ****, the rooms are old, hot, and stinky. Moldy ceilings in the bathroom, scuffed up toilet seat.

Broken sink cockroaches all over the walls and bedsheets dirty had to put my old clothes to lay down on bed

The place is falling apart. The wallpaper is falling off the walls, carpet has huge stains, toilet bowl was not cleaned for days...absolutely, disgusting.

Wouldn't stay again if it was free First thought is why do Ramada and Wyndham even associate their names with this location? We were rushed for time and booked based on reputation and pictures. Should have taken the time to read the reviews. The pictures are obviously very old. The place doesn't look like that anymore. Very misleading. And there was no nightclub I noticed. All amenities I saw were shut down, including the exercise room, restaurant, and pool. Lobby is very uninviting with security glass between the employee and customer. The entire building is in disrepair and grounds are not maintained. The first room we were given: most of the lights didn't work, toilet kept running - could not flush, it smelled, bathroom dirty, no instructions on how to reach front desk, but phone didn't work anyway. That's as far as we got before walking back to the lobby to request another room. Requested 2nd.floor. No elevator, but only one flight so climbed the stairs. Toilet also ran all night, rug dirty, smelled but not as bad as the first room, shower dirty, a resident spider with large web and dead bugs. Did not look further. Afraid of what we'd find. The fact this was advertised as being a room normally costing over $200 is ridiculous. We paid a discounted rate of $160 which is still ridiculous. Honestly I wouldn't stay for free.
