What a dump. When you hear people say a place is a dump, this is what they mean. No exaggeration. Looks like a rest stop motel from the 1960s. I needed to use the restroom while I waited to check in. I was guided to a back room with an old fridge, garbage everywhere and what looked like a gas station bathroom which hadn't ever been cleaned. Our room was ok, but this is the worst motel I ever stayed in. The parking lot looked like the surface of the moon. The place was empty and scary. I'd rather sleep in my car in a restaurant parking lot before I would stay here.

Stayed one night while dropping my son at college. It’s an older hotel but they totally redid the rooms which are really nice and spacious. It looks dated from the outside and the lobby and hallways are not updated, but the staff was very friendly, and the room was very clean and really cute. It is a great location for delivering kids to either SUNY Oneonta or Hartwick College and less expensive than the Marriott or Holiday Inn Express during college drop off time. I’d stay again when visiting my son.

Felt dirty staying here. At check in the manager was actually making fun of my name. Bad start. Hallways were filthy with carpet coming up in several places. Room wasn’t much cleaner. Toilet paper was in the toilet on arrival. Long hairs were in the bath tub. We didn’t use it. Linens all had stains. Overall felt gross staying here and I’ve stayed at questionable places. This place just didn’t seem like it cared enough to try.

I needed a place stay for a trip to Glimmerglass in Cooperstown. I was surprised that the reviews were as positive as they were for a Super8, but for the most part, it did not disappoint. I know the area because I went to school in Oneonta, but had never stayed. My family visits the area with some frequencly, but our hotels of choice were just too expensive for this time around, so we went with Super8. Positives: -the room was clean and comfortable and we felt safe. - Fridge and Microwave, which are always a bonus. The shower was really nice with ample room in the bathroom sink area. They even had a shower bench for elderly or disabled, which was nice to see though not needed for our trip. -TV worked great though I had to find the sleep timer on the set itself bc the remote didn't include it -close to lots of shopping/restaurants with Cooperstown about 25 minutes away Negatives: -breakfast is basically some fruit and muffins (though this may be represented on its site--I don't remember, but don't expect much). Three is a Denny's right next door with other great options (Social Eats about 7 minutes away is amazing!). -lots of pot holes in the parking lot so be careful navigating. I probably looked like I was intoxicated as I slowly swerved all over trying to avoid them -there was a musty/smoky smell in the room. Perhaps from construction or old something or other--it's a shame, because the room itself was really fine. If something could be done about that, it would be really great. Though annoying, I was okay though I started to feel it in my throat. I would imagine those with more sensitivities would have a bigger issue with it. I would stay there again, though I'll likely try my regular spots first. In a bind for $$ or availability, I would have no qualms staying here again.

Motel was conveniently located - in between Dreams Park and All Star Village. It was very accessible to many eating places and grocery stores. Rooms had enough space for two of us. We really just needed a room to sleep and shower since most days were spent at the park. Rooms were clean. King size bed and pillows were comfy. Parking was free and always available.

Low water pressure in the sink. The bathroom was very small. The bed was small. The bed was hard. The lobby and hallways smelled like smoke. The staff was nice and friendly. Watch out for the big craters in the parking lot. AKA giant potholes. There is no elevator. Don’t expect too much from the morning breakfast. The price was reasonable.

The accommodations and friendly Staff were very Good. The Hotel exterior needs to be freshly painted for better appearance and the driveway and parking lot is FULL of very LARGE Potholes needing to be repaved. Our Room was very clean and the beds were Very comfortable I slept very well each night. Room rates were competitive. The Location is very convenient to state highway access and to Oneonta Downtown Restaurants which we really enjoyed as well as Cooperstown All Star Village which we visited during our 5 night stay. Again, we LOVED the Room decor and the Friendly Staff.

Such an old hotel. Really needs updating. The carpet in the hallway needs replacing as I almost tripped on a ripple. Happy it was quite clean.
