Very friendly hosts will accomodate your stay in Ollantaytambo. Always available to help you and give directions for your visits. Very clean rooms and good breakfast is what you need when travelling in this area. We enjoyed staying at the Lodge, situated in a quite area. Some good restaurants in the neighbourhood and fantastic Inca sites to discover.

Edith & Stan (the man) are lovely hosts. We stayed here for 3 nights during our 2 week trip to Peru. We had a matrimonial basic room with private bath on the road side (303) which was a bit noisy. If I could stay again I’d ask for a riverside room. Breakfast was delicious, coffee, fruit, yogurt, bread and eggs. They even packed us a breakfast when we had to leave early for our train to Machu Picchu. We felt immediately welcome and at home at this hotel. It’s really nice to be a 5-10 min walk away from the hustle & bustle of the town square. I definitely recommend this place to those wanting comfortable (beds were super comfy and great hot showers!) and quiet lodging. Not a party hotel. Good for families & couples.

When we arrived there was no host on site to check us in. Hot water was not turned on and we had to ask. No soap, shampoo, conditioner and hair dryer were provided. No drinking water or bottle water were provided and we had to purchase. No assistance with luggage. This place doesn’t meet many criteria for being listed on *******.

Clean and good food for breakfast. The only room had no heater so it was cold at night but the bed is warm. Thin walls and windows so it can be loud.

A good stay in Ollantaytambo
We had a pleasant stay at this family-owned hostal. The staff were very friendly and welcoming throughout our visit. The room was simple but clean, and the shower had hot water, which we really appreciated after long days out. The room got chilly at night, but overall we were comfortable. A good place to stay if you're looking for something priceworthy, straightforward and well-run.

Our family of four stayed here for a couple of nights and had a great experience. The room was pretty small for four people, but similar to what we'd expect in Europe. I wouldn't say the beds or pillows were luxurious, but we slept well enough. The lodge is a simple walk away from the town square, maybe 7 minutes and nearly in a straight line. The real high point of our stay, though, was the service. The owners are so wonderfully friendly and helpful! We had them do our laundry since this was the midpoint of our two-week trip, and it was very convenient. Also, my phone decided to be difficult, so I couldn't reach out to my tour guides, but the owner used her cell phone to connect us and saved the day! We felt so welcome. Also, we had a very early departure on our last morning, so they packed box breakfasts for us. We were so grateful.
