Six Senses Laamu

We chose Six Senses Laamu for our honeymoon, and it was the best decision we could have made. From start to finish, everything was flawless. The food was consistently amazing, with every meal a highlight, and the staff made us feel so warmly cared for. A special thank you to our GEM Veronika, who went above and beyond to make our honeymoon seamless and truly unforgettable. The experiences were incredible. The Mystery Sip wine tasting with the knowledgeable head sommelier was fun, educational, and a completely new way of discovering wine. The teppanyaki night was another standout—Chef Iko was so much fun and turned the evening into a truly enjoyable dining experience. Witnessing the turtle hatching was a once-in-a-lifetime, magical memory. Our time at the spa was equally special—the wellness journey left us deeply relaxed, refreshed, and recharged for the year ahead. The mornings were made even brighter thanks to Hassan, one of the managers. He was always so friendly, suggested new smoothies for us to try, and we really enjoyed our conversations with him—such a thoughtful touch that made us feel at home. The Chill Bar quickly became one of our favorite places to unwind. Huge appreciation to Viali and Rai—their warm service stood out, and Rai mixed one of the best Old Fashioneds we’ve ever had. Six Senses Laamu delivered everything we could have dreamed of for our honeymoon: breathtaking nature, amazing food, memorable activities, and staff who made us feel like family. We left with hearts full of gratitude and are already dreaming of coming back!

We recently visited Six Senses Resorts with our family, and from the moment we arrived until our departure, the care and attention we received were truly exceptional. Every team member at the resort—whether it was the gardeners, the General Manager, executive staff, or managers—treated us with the same warmth and dedication. It was clear that their goal was to ensure we had a happy and memorable stay. Each day brought new experiences and fresh insights. The buggy drivers treated us with the utmost respect, always ready to assist us with a genuine smile. Every time we needed to go somewhere, they served us happily and wholeheartedly. We are from the Maldives, and even though we stayed in one of the most expensive villas at the resort, the service and attention we received felt personal and sincere. The Food and Beverage team, including the restaurant managers, supervisors, and chefs, were always ready to help. They took special care to recommend delicious dishes, including our local favorites, and they were especially thoughtful with our children—showing the highest level of care and professionalism. I would like to take a moment to highlight one very special person: our personal butler, Shaah. He went above and beyond to ensure every detail of our stay was perfect. From the very first day, we felt his presence and support. He was always just a call away, ready to help with anything we needed—kind, thoughtful, and incredibly attentive. My kids became very attached to him, and he treated them like his own. I can confidently say that Shaah is the best butler I have ever met. I’ve stayed at more than eight resorts in the Maldives, but none have offered the level of personal care and heartfelt service that Shaah provided. He truly understands his role and performs his duties with genuine passion—not just because it’s his job, but because he cares. Thank you, Shaah. You made our stay unforgettable.

Six Senses Laamu is truly a slice of paradise. Our GEM, Shah, made the entire stay unforgettable—his warm hospitality, thoughtful attention, and ability to tailor every detail gave us the feeling that the island was truly ours. His around-the-clock care created an experience that felt both personal and extraordinary. We also loved the natural vibe of Laamu, the essence of barefoot luxury, perfectly blended with a deep respect for sustainability. In this regard, GM Marteyne deserves special recognition for preserving the unique DNA of Laamu and ensuring that its beauty and spirit remain intact for every guest. The culinary offerings were another highlight, with an impressive variety of delicious dishes that kept every meal exciting. And as someone who loves both diving and surfing, the ease and quality of the operations here were outstanding. Being able to explore world-class dive sites and catch great waves, all in the same place and with such an excellent team, made the experience even more exceptional.

It was nice to be back again in Six Senses Laamu! We had a short but lovely stay. The guest journey began with a warm welcome from the management, a detailed tour with our GEM Vienne, who was always there to assist us in our desired activities and restaurant bookings. This was our 5th stay on the island and the experience just keeps getting better. Shah was a world-class host and with 12 consecutive days of surfing with the lovely Tropic Surf team (Nicole, Shane, Saif, Teresa, Fahrite, …) my body and soul feels as great as ever. Thanks so much, Six Senses team!

Six Senses Laama is a wonderful resort and we had a fantastic family holiday. Amazing location, incredible views, very comfortable accomdation ( beach villa with pool by beach), excellent food, superb snorkelling but above all absolutely superb staff.
