Six Senses Laamu

Our time at Six Senses Laamu was unforgettable, largely thanks to our incredible butler, Pearl. Her warm, attentive, and intuitive service truly elevated our entire experience. Birthday Magic: On my birthday, Pearl arranged the most thoughtful surprises. We returned to our villa to find a stunning birthday cake waiting, and at breakfast, I was greeted with a special birthday pancake topped with candles. The sweetest touch? A hand-signed celebration card from the entire Six Senses team—it felt so personal and heartfelt! Unforgettable Moment: Thanks to Pearl’s guidance, we booked a lagoon snorkeling trip and had the incredible luck of swimming alongside sea turtles in the seagrass meadows. It was a dream come true! Pearl’s dedication, warmth, and attention to detail made us feel genuinely cherished. She’s a true gem, and we’re so grateful for her role in making our stay so perfect. We can’t wait to return!

Everything was wonderful. Starting from the team meeting us at the airport, the welcome at the resort, the main contact (GEM) (Shiumee) were excellent. They communicated well, they were so nice. The food was great. The room was beautiful.

The greatest hidden gem of the Maldives. This was one of our 6 stops traveling around the globe for our honeymoon. The second we arrived, we were greeted and introduced to all of the resort staff, then given a very detailed and informative tour of the resort and all of its amenities. Nothing was left unturned, and we even had a WhatsApp group chat created just for our villa if we had any needs or questions to address along our stay. As far as dining, there are so many different outlets to choose from. Our dinners were arranged every night, so it made it easy for us to know where to go and when. And oh my goodness the food! I will never taste such fresh and organic fruits, vegetables and greens anywhere else on this earth. Every plate presented to us was absolutely beautiful and tasted amazing. As beautiful as the Maldives are, the one thing that will stand out more when I think of this leg of our trip was the staff. It felt like we were being treated like true royalty. Not a finger of ours was to be lifted. Their attention to detail is unmatched and perfected, yet so incredibly personable. We learned about where so many of them were from, what their interests are, stories of their childhood, and so much more. Shark and Aryan at the Chill Bar were a blast to chat with, Freddie takes the absolute BEST photos, and Ismail was entertaining and informative during our private cooking class where we learned more about Maldivian cuisine. The star of the show for us, however, was Shah. Oh my goodness, where to begin. It is rare to find someone with such a pure, happy, and hospitable spirit as his. It is clear that he truly loves what he does. He was incredibly attentive to every single need we had, knew answers to all of our questions, and was knowledgeable about every aspect of the island and resort. He seemed to stop at absolutely nothing to ensure that we enjoyed every second of our trip. He, alone, is the reason we will absolutely be back in the future.
