Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton Olean

The hotel is relatively new and very clean. All of the employees were friendly and helpful. It was very quiet! We would happily stay there again should we find ourselves back in Olean.

I've stayed here for a total of 12 nights over the course of 2025 and would love to stay more. The hotel and it's staff make you feel at home. Rooms are comfortable. Ample free parking. Great gym! There are not microwaves in the room, but there is a microwave downstairs for use. The hotel is close to a nice paved five mile loop running trail that goes around the nearby university. Walmart and restaurants within 1-2 miles. Very convenient. I hope to stay here again!

Facility and room were reasonably clean (I'm very picky) and the breakfast options were good. Three dislikes: 1) the heat / A/C unit is disabled so that the fan cannot run continuously, only when actually heating or cooling. I would suggest that guests bring their own fan for white noise / air flow in the room. 2) The sink design is absurd as it does not allow one to wash their hands under the faucet, which is mounted too close to the edge of the too shallow sink. 3) Some of the 110 v outlets are so worn that anything plugged in doesn't make electrical contact. You may think your phone is charging when it is not. This is a simple ,maintenance item that needs to be addressed. Thanks!

Simple, clean, modern, comfortable with really nice people and excellent and polite customer service.

Beautiful hotel, seems new, safe and convenient location. Spacious clean room, comfortable beds, good climate control, plenty of hot water for showers. No noise from the hallway or other rooms. Excellent breakfast of eggs, sausage, oatmeal, pastries, yogurt. Isaiah Maine checked us in and was very friendly and helpful, a pleasure to talk with after a long drive.

There are hundreds of these Hampton Inns across the country and you pay a premium because you expect consistency of service delivery. I’ve stayed in dozens over the past year and this one seems like all the others, which is fine. But not to be able to connect to the wifi in your room and being asked to go downstairs to connect in the lobby is just unacceptable today. A phone connects ok but not a laptop. And Guest Services says this is a known problem - so why hasn’t it been fixed? For a hotel that specifically caters for business travellers, this is a big negative. Everything else is as you’d expect - fine. But please - fix your WiFi.
