Just about everything at this property was great. The breakfast was very well maintained and the attendant even came table-to-table to make sure everyone had what they needed. Best of all, the pancake machine worked, and they don't at many HHI locations. Indoor pool was fantastic. The temperature was just right and very clean. The outdoor sitting area was literally like sitting in your home back yard. So quiet and peaceful for being in downtown Olean. Also a ton of charging stations if you drive a hybrid or electric vehicle. Hotel and our room was very clean. Our only issue is that the molding along the floor in the bedroom was loose and coming off, and behind it was a lot of water damage including what looked like black mold. The wall was even soft toward the floor. Room definitely has had recent water damage that needs to be addressed ASAP. If not for that, we would have had no issues.

Disappointing for a brand name hotel I stayed here last night while visiting family in the area. I needed a room with air conditioning due to health reasons and booked here in a pinch. My rate was $195.00 and I feel like I got hosed for what I got. Building: The location itself is good, parking lot in the back is not well lit and I did not feel safe as a solo female traveler. Lobby was ok, I could see visible wear on furnishings and the bench I sat at for breakfast was visibly stained and felt gross. Room: at first look it was clean, the air conditioning was functional and the room was cool. The bed was fine, sheets were very soft, and I slept fairly well considering I don't sleep well in hotels. Bathroom: noticeable wear on the furnishings, mirror looked like the mirror surface was peeling, shower was comically small, and there was haphazard repairs on the shower wall. This morning I noticed something on the wall that looked like dried nose juice from a juicy sneeze and that really grossed me out. After seeing that I was like ok I'm outta here. Staff: front desk yesterday afternoon was incredibly friendly, and the breakfast attendant was also quite personable. Guy at the front desk at check out seemed annoyed that I bothered him to check out and was a bit curt. Bottom line: I won't stay here again. If I need to stay in the area again I am going to find somewhere else.
