Atlantic Ocean Suites

We stayed in the Sand Dollar Suite #5 from Augus 12-15th, 2025 Things we loved: the view, the hospitality (ask and receive with a smile), the location, the comfort (beds and sitting space), AC in every room, cleanliness (it was clean and it smelled clean), self serve beach chairs, umbrellas and sand toys, plenty of bath towels and hot water, 6 people seating kitchen table. The kitchen has everything you need. Things we wished we had: an outdoor sitting area with a beach view-you could use the small table and chairs at the end of the balcony, but it didn’t feel right as you were sitting directly in front of someone’s else’s unit. There is a back deck with the view of a building, but better than nothing. We missed not having an outdoor pool, but they do provide an indoor pool that is very well kept. A larger parking space. Overall, we loved our trip, and we would absolutely stay there again. It felt like home away from home. The unit was bright and airy and so comfortable. The bathroom could use a paint job around the bottom of the door but that is about it. The sofa bed was very comfortable, and the bed sheets were soft and of good quality. It is obvious that the owners have high standards and want customer satisfaction. A bonus is that you can book for less than a week. Most condo rentals are weekly and have added fees. These units could be booked for less than a week and there were no additional fees except if you need a 2nd parking space. Pictures on their website are accurate.

Very convenient appartement close to everything, host was friendly and helpful at all time. Would pick that location again!

We had an amazing stay in a beautiful, clean, and spacious room, perfectly located right off the beach! The extra touches, like provided beach towels, chairs, and sand toys, really made our trip special. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to others!

Amazing Time!! Had an amazing time there. You could tell that people who stayed there previously were not kind to the stuff in the room, but overall the room was nice and spacious. Only downside is that we were on the top floor and there are no elevators in the building we were in. The bed also wasn't the most comfortable either.

The beds definitely need an upgrade to provide a more comfortable sleep experience.

I planned a month-long sabbatical in the Old Orchard Beach area for October 2023. Atlantic Ocean Suites in OOB was exactly what I hoped for. Shifra helped me book, and Tonya answered any questions I had. I was concerned about the electronic lock app (due to the app reviews) but Tonya explained the instructions thoroughly and I had no issues at all. My apartment was perfectly furnished, within steps of the ocean. It was beautiful, clean, and the kitchen well stocked. A lovely extra: the beach chairs for guest use! And the outdoor hose (near the laundry area) for rinsing off was handy every day as I spent most mornings – sunrise! – on the beach, where it was incredibly beautiful, quiet, and the light was almost magical. I grew up near the beach in Ventura, CA, and the sunrise in no way compares to what I experienced here. The location was perfect as I explored both north and south along the coast, and into Portland. So, so many things to do and see. I especially loved the hiking, the many beaches, the food, and museums. The main drawback? Having to leave. I'd definitely return. I highly recommend to anyone looking for a very nice place at a reasonable price.
