No parking when we got back the second night. So we had to park on the grass. The office called us to move which is fine, but he was nasty. We went in to talk to him and explain we had gone to the desk to let them know someone was in our spot and he he got nasty again and came around the desk towards us. My daughter stayed on another room and they had hair all over the sink as if someone had trimmed their. I would avoid this place at all cost.

The old Forge area is undoubtedly beautiful! You could enhance your stay with some simple amenities. For instance, consider getting a new coffee maker that only requires a bag of coffee. You could also add an umbrella outside for guests to sit under during rain showers. Alternatively, you could set up a simple fire pit area for your guests. Other hotels in the area offer similar amenities. Overall, the price is great if you’re looking for a cost-effective stay. Everything is appropriate for the price charge.

It was a ok place but we had a balcony room on 2nd floor & you could hear the people below us & in the rooms next to us conversations! Very poor installation so as a result very poor sleep

Room was very large, and had a small balcony. Unable to use balcony due to weather but would have enjoyed it had it not been stormy. Room decor was nice but the wallpaper/paint could use a refresh. Bed was surprisingly comfortable considering how squeaky it was.

This is an older facility that reminds me of the motels along highways in the 50’s and 60’s. The staff was friendly and helpful. Our room was in a one floor building and was spacious and had a place for all our ski equipment. We were here mid-week and it appears to be a snowmobilers favorite spot. It was, however, quiet. Upon entering the room it was clean but the carpet had several ancient stains and our windows were the old turnstile kind with one handle completely missing and the other broken. Bathroom was also clean with the water pressure just enough. Inside was a good size refrigerator, large desk, TV, and a nice small round table with two chairs. Since this is a winter destination the rate was a little high considering newer hotels and age of the facility. Overall an ok place to crash.
