Unfortunately, the hotel is not well looked after. Wouldn’t recommend

Average accomodation, but decent for the price i guess. Had cold shower as water didnt heat up in the morning. Seat/lounge was old and wear on them was quute average. Bed was ok, pillows far too hard and thick. My daughter couldnt even sleep on them as her neck isnt big enough and she is 11. So if you are coming with kids bring a pillow for them. The rooms were very clean though and aircon was nice and cold.

Oh dear, the reception team were quite rude, the house keeping staff were friendly, but clearly lacked training by the rude reception team. I've got nothing against older hotel rooms, but this was just not good. Only benefit, it was quiet as it was out of town.

My husband and I had a very sore back after sleeping in the bed. Terrible saggy mattress, so terribly sagged from years of overuse. The lounge chairs have the vinyl peeling off and look atrocious. still holding pride of place since 1990 I imagine (Sorry no pics on that one). The outdoor setting at our room was covered in spider webs dirt and had some bird excrement over it. At over $100 a night my advise is STAY AWAY. There are plenty of other better more affordable accommodation options in Renmark. upon checkout I showed management the bed and was told they were very sorry and agreed it was not acceptable. I was advised that they would get back to me on a possible reimbursement. Two days later I called the RCC back and was told someone will contact me before 2pm the next day. Well 3pm came, no call... so I called them back and was told there was nothing wrong with the mattress. I then reminded them how I showed her the mattress and asked her if she would sleep on it and the answer was no she would not. I then asked why I should have to pay over $100 for such appalling lodgings. The answer i received was I am so sorry... Over and over again. Setting is lovely with kangaroos on golf course & lovely outlook from the room. Rooms in need of updating, very tired decor & amenities. Shower head fell off, general maintenance seems to be lacking. Cleanliness was just adequate with a little more attention to detail required. Restaurant selection small. Meals were not of a high standard. Chicken schnitzel with gravy was presented with small scattering of chips under it and the ‘salad’ consisted of a tomato quarter, 2 slices of cucumber and 3 pieces of onion with no dressing. Gravy was $3.00 extra. Beef schnitzel was very dry and tough, and served with same accompaniments, or lack of, as the chicken. The price is reasonable on paper but l would pay more for better quality. Could be very nice accommodation but needs more effort put in. Would not recommend this place.

Not the standard you would expect from a country c Restaurant was dirty, toilets attached to restaurant were dirty. When the menu says all meals are served with a salad bowl, you expect to receive a salad, not just chips and a wedge of lemon. The next morning when we went to restaurant for breakfast, nothing was ready - tables hadn't been fully cleared from previous evening, crumbs on floor as well as dead insects on tables. Rooms aren't sound proof, you could hear conversation in next room.
