"We stayed at the Beach point for 3 night room 420(i think). a beautiful appt. looking straight out over the beach and Bay of Plenty. The hosts where friendly and checkin a breeze as we were given a choice of 2 rooms a nice surprise,The beach was just across the rood and local cafes and resturants with walking distance. A short 6 min. drive into Whakatane for all the main grocery stores and facilities. The appt. was clean and extremely comfortable. Beautiful furnishings and well equipt kitchen, dinging room, lounge room, great bathroom and bedroom, washer, dryer. Large balcony with outdoor table and chairs and sun lounges. Just great would stay again if in Ohhope. Thank you Wendy"

"Managers were so nice over the phone, then when we were there, they texted me, that we were too noisey, I said we were celebrating my husbands birthday and also asked permission for friends to come for breakfast, I got text twice, one to keep the noise down, not music just talking and the other text to ask if they could check the water meter?, then we were on the balcony , our guest looked over the rail, only for the woman who was lingering around to ask us if we were smoking? no one even smoked with our group. beautiful place to stay, but very weird Management, not friendly at all!!!"

"This was a somewhat uncertain trip “am I going or am I not”, so did not make a booking. Being the school holidays, I was also uncertain to the reception I would receive but this was such a needless worry additionally I made a surprise visit to a friend who asked if she could stay, so we could “catch up & reminisce” Kelly unhesitatingly accommodated our request. So perfectly located to Whakatane, Ohope and other areas visited This accommodation had all the simple comforts I could want, clean, well maintained, comfortable with a number of exceptional extras for guests to use, such as the picnic area across the road. Best decision I made , so ideally situated to the beach, the quietness was the right form of relaxation I needed, early morning walk on the beach followed by further walks on the beach. I am only sorry my stay was so short, rated 3-star I left with a 5-star feeling and will be certain to return with family in tow for what I hope is a longer stay."
