We had a fantastic stay in early October at the Anchorage By The Sea. They have added new room amenities (robe/slippers, welcome note/treat, bedside charger) and the service throughout from front desk to breakfast dining service was friendly, informative and helpful. We had gorgeous weather and enjoyed the view, proximity to the Marginal Way for walking everywhere and loved never having to move the car. Fall decor was an added bonus. The orange hues blended perfectly with the blue ocean and sky -- sunrises were breathtaking. We will be back and suggest if you are considering this spot, do give it a try!

Really quaint and well located little hotel right on the water in Ogunquit. The direct access to Marginal Way is also a huge plus. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The room was nice, comfortable bed and had everything we needed, was spacious and comfortable. The views of the water from the lawn and the Adirondack chairs out there to sit and watch the waves was such a nice amenity. We had a rare warm snap in early October so also got to use the outdoor pool and hot tubs which were very nice. Would absolutely recommend for a couple of nights in this area.

Beautiful resort. Flowers, landscaping & the overall grounds were impressive. Enjoyed the Marginal Way access for our walks & viewing the morning sunrise & ocean. Loved the view from our 2nd floor room, port side.

Nice place to stay. 24/7 coffee and tea. Rooms were comfortable. Thin walls. Staff friendly. Outside pool, supposed to be 85. Not. Hot tubs were great! Love the lawn chairs to watch the water.

Oh my goodness, does it get any better than this?! The drive to this “hotel” is eye catching with great views and lots of interesting history. The Anchorage is a top notch destination, great rooms and amenities. Coastline views, with easy beach access and a 1 1/4 mile paved trail makes for a variety of enjoyable activities . The on site restaurant is very good with excellent wait staff; area restaurants are also within a short drive or walking distance. Quaint shops are also local and offer a wide variety of goods. Extremely nice hotel/resort!!! I highly recommend this spot for a wonderful getaway.

I stayed for 2 nights this past weekend. I thoroughly enjoyed every minute. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. There were so many thoughtful details in everything that I felt very pampered. They provide the most luxurious robes in your room for use after a dip in the pool on a chilly night! I will definitely be a repeat customer.

Have stayed many times at the Anchorage. Great location right on Shore Rd with restaurants and shops and just a short walk to the beautiful Ogunquit beach. The rooms were very comfortable and the pools in snd outside along with the hot tubs are a highlight. Also a wonderful view of Marginal Way and Ogunquit Beach. The flowers are beautiful and the lawn area with games and fire pits are a nice touch.

You can’t beat the view!! I stayed with my family of 5, including three small kids and we had a wonderful time! The hotel is clean and well maintained. The rooms are well laid out but it’s a tight fit for all 5 in one room (my kids are too young to spread out so it is what it is at this stage). There is a gated play area that overlooks the water that’s worth its weight in gold. The kids loved it there and I got to look out on the incredible views with a drink. There’s is direct access to Marginal Way and it’s a quick, direct walk into town. The beach is 15min away but an easy walk with a beach wagon. My only notes for families with small kids is that there is no microwave in the room and there are a sorely insignificant number of options for hanging wet stuff up. There are chairs outside of the room and we found it to be incredibly safe but it was an annoyance. Overall, we will absolutely stay there again and look forward to it. One day home and we all miss it already!
