Tru by Hilton Ogden

Great location and decent breakfast. The room is a little too small, no closet and storage space but all the pros made up for it, i.e. pool table. Pool sticks really not playable but didn’t bother the kids

We have stayed at many Hilton properties over the years. For the money nothing beats Tru. They are clean and convenient. No water space on closets or gigantic bathrooms. But a large comfortable bed, USB and electrical outlets, walk in shower with plentiful, hot water, nice bath products, multiple clothes/towel hooks. Ok, so far like most reasonable motels. But the breakfast blew us away. China plates and mugs! Yukon gold breakfast potatoes! And fluffy biscuits! There is also a pool and a gym as well as inviting public spaces. Perfect when you are on the road , arriving late and leaving early.

We like it here. But pool is cold and hottub is dirty and not functioning. Breakfast is good but they have shorter time than other hotels and fill out food pretty slow. Not meeting the expectations we paid for the hotel.

We got a charge on the credit card for $38 days after we checked out. Called back asked for reason. We were told that there were some stained sheet, towels, which I have never seen. I would know if I slept on a stained sheet. On top of that, the sheet just looked like burned yellow by dryers. After I did a quick search, I realized they do this to a lot people. In the 40 years staying at different hotels all over the world, this is the first and only time something like this happened. Shame on you. Will be contacting Hilton Corp.

Base of operations for skiing at Snowbasin. Bus stop for resort is across the street. Would stay again.

It was great except the busy road next to our room
