The Seabird Resort Spa, in Destination by Hyatt

The Seabird customer service was unparalleled. From the valet to the front desk to the restaurants, every interaction I had was positive. I would definitely recommend staying here.

My family and I had a wonderful stay at The Seabird; however, we experienced an upsetting discriminatory incident that I feel should be addressed. While enjoying a late evening swim with our two children, a security guard named Linda approached my husband and began speaking to him in broken Spanish, assuming he spoke Spanish simply based on his appearance. My husband does not speak Spanish, and he felt humiliated and singled out. At the same time, there were other guests drinking and relaxing in the jacuzzi, yet only my husband was approached and reminded of the pool closing time even though there were still 30 minutes remaining. We immediately gathered our children and reported the situation to the front desk. The Seabird is a beautiful hotel with exceptional service, which is why this incident was so disappointing. I hope the hotel takes steps to educate and train staff on cultural sensitivity and respectful communication so that no other guest feels profiled or disrespected.

Took an anniversary trip to celebrate 37 years of marriage. This resort lived up to its reputation as a top-rated beach side resort. It was a staircase away from the ocean. The hotel was open air and tastefully decorated. We selected a room with a partial ocean view that also had a view of the pool. The staff was top rate. Friendly and attentive. The pool area was well maintained with staff present to take care of your needs. The fitness area had a variety of equipment. The restaurant breakfast was delicious, but expensive. There were wedding parties, Halloween, Bike the Coast and preparation for a surfing competition and the staff took care of all needs.

Me and my husband do a lot of traveling but this was our first time to this hotel. I have to say this spot was super nice! From the time your drive up to the front door until check out the service and ambiance was priceless. Unfortunately in this day and time there can be many things that are of distraction in life so if you are in need of a great place to go and relax with staff that makes you feel like you are a part of their family Seabird Resort is the spot! The hotel is very clean and beautiful with a fresh clean smell and awesome ocean views. Wanted to give a special thanks to some people that made my trip very memorable Blake thank you for your special directions on how to navigate while in town Suede for your amazing welcome and professionalism at the front desk delivered with a warm smile Benny your help on our first night stay with options on food and drinks was yummy! Ms. Odessa I have to say you are a great way to start our day! Having breakfast at Piper and you being our server was priceless your patience suggestions and recommendations for food choices were so on point. We appreciated your ability to provide awesome service in dining. Thank you to the group who helps to make all of these areas so pleasant. We will be back and only stay here when we visit Oceanside! Thanks guys!

Wonderful stay and beautiful location right across the street from the beach. Even though I was recovering from a medical procedure I felt like I was on vacation in a comfortable airy well-lit room next to the ocean! Staff was friendly and accommodating. Would happily stay again!
