There were crickets that came out from under the bed at night and it’s right next to the highway so sound sleep is hard to get.

The motel is right off I5. The free way traffic noise is really loud. The room is very unwelcoming. The walls and furniture are all scuffed up. The TV is barely attached to the wall and lampshade looks like it has lipstick on it. The one wall is a crazy bright red. The door handle has gone through the wall. The bathroom has stucco on the inside. There is a fridge that seems to work. I think I the sheets are clean. The ac seems to work. It smelled clean when I opened the door. The door seems solid with a good lock. The man at the desk was polite and welcoming. But would not allow me to shorten my stay and get a refund. Don’t stay here. I would not come back. I may just forfeit my second night.

I know this wasn’t going to be a five star property, but I was not prepared for the extent of disrepair. We requested an upstairs room and the floor tiles were coming up and creaky like we were going to fall through the floor. The room had not been remodeled in a very long time. On the positive side it did have an OK bed and a TV that worked. They also said in their ad that continental breakfast was included, but that was not the case. The traffic from the freeway at night was just over the top overall glad we were staying for one night.

This place is nasty. Don’t ever go there. The staff is rude. You can tell he doesn’t enjoy his job. Water (yellow colorored) running down the stairs from the AC units.

Do not stay at this hotel. Once I walked in the room it smelled like straight bleach. The bathroom window was wide open and I felt unsafe and uncomfortable. On the first floor. The bathroom towels were used because it had dirt stains on them. Lamp shade was dusty and dirty. Dead roach on the floor. My friend sat on the bed and a damn bed bug landed on her pants. Showed the front desk and told him that there are bedbugs and he refused to even listen to me, he says that bed bugs are suppose to be red. I didn't even stay at this hotel and asked for refund. They refused. So don't waste your time here period.

You get what uou pay for It is what it is. Should be called a motel. They get to charge the rate they do because of location and season. I get it. With that said they should put some of their profit back into the property . Very old and run down. We stayed for one night on a traveling trip with multi stops and we lived. Harbor Inn plz pit some money back into the property youll be able to charge more with some simple inexpensive upgrades. Pictures on site are not what u ou get. For example " premium tv" means a 32 inch walmart brand. Not hating but just understand 5. Whatever stars is generous. This is where the surfers on a budget stay. We had no problems.
