Watson's Regency Suites

We stayed overnight on Sept 20, 2025 for a quick mini vacation. Although we’ve vacationed in Ocean City, NJ for decades, we never stayed at Watsons Regency Suites before. We now have a new favorite go to place to stay in Ocean City, NJ! Watsons Regency Suites is conveniently located within a short walk (5 mins) to the famous Ocean City boardwalk and the beach and within easy walking distance to several restaurants on the boardwalk or in town. There is free parking on site, and an indoor heated pool! The staff are very friendly. The hotel is very clean (although some glass in the pools and elevators could use some cleaning). Our suite, 320, was wonderful and decorated in a classic Ocean City look. We loved it! The suite has a well appointed kitchen, a dining table, a living room with a TV and access to a balcony with a direct view to the boardwalk in the distance. The bedroom is separate with a queen bed and a large closet with a safe. There’s access to the balcony here as well. (The balcony has a large table with chairs that would be great for a meal in clement weather.) There is a TV in the bedroom as well. There is a large bathroom with a bathtub. We found the suite very comfortable and roomy. The kitchen has an electric stove/oven, and a good sized refrigerator/freezer. If we had any quibble with the suite, the bed’s mattress was very firm. This could easily be remedied with a padded plush (3”) mattress pad. The pillows were nice and the sheets were clean and comfortable. The pool is very large with lots of seating and towels supplied at pool side. There are restrooms and showers at the pool. There are soda machines on each level of the hotel. We can’t wait to book a stay there again! We highly recommend you stay at the Watsons Regency Suites.

Inside is gloomy. Everything is dark beige. You expect blue or light green beachy colors. Sofas were so uncomfortable, lampshade torn in multiple spots in bedroom 311. Screen doors didn't work, balcony doors didn’t lock, only 2 pots in kitchen. The location is perfect near boards & shopping. They have free parking 2 beach tags, nice pool. The place just needs a decor update. New curtainsn sofas & interior paint. Lights in living room are so low wattage its hard to read. It is absolutely so clean so that was a big positive. Had lots of room, bathroom was nice just needs a nicer shower curtain.

Can’t beat the location This is an ideal location to walk to the beach. Parking and bike racks. It even had a hose outside to clean the sand off. The room was slightly dated and the bed was not as comfortable as I’d liked, but the location outweighs the negatives.

Everything was clean but outdated. Bed was terrible and walls were thin but overall just fine.

Great room! Spacious, updated, kitchen, living room, dining room. Just one short block away from the boardwalk/beach. Indoor pool is epic. Great time had by all.

Good overall experience. Front desk workers are cordial. Clean towels each day. Only issue was ice machine wasn’t working!
