Wir hatten eine Familiensuite mit zwei Balkonen. Diese war im Großen und Ganzen i. O. Die Couch (verfusselt und in die Jahre gekommen) und eine Matratze sollten ausgewechselt werden. Dass die Toilette extra ist, ist zunächst top. Aber da Genannte nur mit einer Schiebetür und nicht völlig zu schließen ging, Abstand zum Rahmen, und sich in diesem Extraraum kein Waschbecken befindet und man zum Händewaschen ins benachbarte Bad muss, ist das Ganze nicht optimal bzw. hauptsächlich nicht hygienisch. Schade! Das Frühstück ist top! Wir waren auf der Durchreise und sind früher abgereist. Dass das Zimmer trotzdem bezahlt werden muss, bei früherer Abreise, ist klar. Aber dass nicht einmal das Frühstück für uns Drei, welches wir dadurch nicht in Anspruch genommen haben, erstattet wird, ist in keinster Weise nachvollziehbar und sehr, sehr unfair!

J'ai aimé le charme de l'établissement, celui de la belle chambre N.º 8 en angle avec vue panoramique sur la montagne et l'église St Pierre et Paul (3 fenêtres et une porte fenêtre!), le calme. L'arrêt du bus 9606 (Füssen-Garmisch) s'arrête à 4 min à pied (Tiroler gasse) de Mammhofer et autant du centre.

The Mammhofer hotel was perfect for us & our adult children. 1 family suite (slept 3 adults comfortably) and 1 double suite. Each had good social sitting areas where we were able to get together for card games/ pre drinks etc. Very close to town & a number of good restaurants, but in a nice quiet area with wonderful views of the mountains from our balconies. The owners/ staff were super helpful with any questions we had & they lay on a lovely breakfast. Would definitely come again if back in the area- it’s like a home from home, our little mountain retreat :)

Stopped for one night only in this charming village, wish we had time for a longer stay. Mammhofer is close enough to walk to everything, but just outside of the busiest part of the village (quiet!). Josef runs the family-owned place and was a gracious host, and easily accommodated us when we showed up for our reservations a day early (my mistake). Room was clean & comfortable, had a great shower. His breakfast eggs were the best we had on our two-weeks through Bavaria (he added cracked red pepper), and we would definitely stay here again when we return. Thanks Josef!

Wir waren anläßlich der Passionsfestspiele in Oberammergau in diesem Suite & Breakfast Hotel untergebracht. Das Hotel liegt mitten im Ort in einer ruhigen Seitenstrasse. Sehr großzügige Zimmer, freundlicher Service, gutes Frühstück und Zugriff auf eine Hotelbar (Vertrauen, dass man mitgenommene Getränke auch bei Abreise bezahlt). Sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Wirtsleute.

Well renovated B&B, in a quiet position, central in the village. We booked the suite and it was really nice. The owners are very nice and friendly. Price extremely correct in view of the quality of the place. Good breakfast that in the good season can be taken outdoor. Top restaurant Maximilian, 5 minutes walk from the B&B.
