We stayed here as part of a group tour with friends. Overall a great stay. Property is centrally located, clean and breakfast was delicious. Our room was serviced 2 times/day. We even used the pool one afternoon. My only caution would be if you have difficulty climbing steps, to secure a room on the 1st floor as there is no elevator.

Ended up loosing a 3 day paid stay because ******* could not get in touch with Hotel to change dates. When they finally reached it was too late as it was same day of check in.

The property itself and the location are phenomenal. Service from all staff is great. Food (at least breakfast which we took on 2 of the 3 days we stayed), is really good, and very reasonably priced. My only comment -which is not really a complaint but it should be addressed- is that the Hotel reviews and renames its rooms according to what they are. I booked a Grand Class Two Double Suite and what we got is just an accomodation that should be described Double Room, a nice one but nothing more, as to me a Suite implies a separation of sleeping and living quarters, which was clearly not the case with ours. Per comments of the front desk staff, my observation is not an isolated one and has generated similar reactions from other guests.

Servicio de primera y muy buenos alimentos. Un poco parcos con la medida de los mezcales. Habitaciones muy bien y alberca limpia y buena temperatura. Mejoraría una sala de ejercicio más grande y con cuando menos dos máquinas de cada tipo

A lovely location within walking distance of major sightseeing places in downtown Oaxaca. We were upgraded to a novice room, which was ample and comfortable. The plumbing is a bit outdated, but to be expected in a historical building. Great shower pressure! Would have like to have a window we could open to the patio rather than the street. Pool was wonderful. Service is exceptional, every evening we would get chocolates, fresh fruit, and a special sweet treat delivered to the room. The dining area in the patio is intimate and with gorgeous views of the patio. The food was really good and staff is very friendly and go out of their way to help out. Security is very good and the place is incredibly quiet despite being on a busy street. It was amazing to go exploring the massive building and learn of its history.

El servicio en el Restaurante pésimo, éramos un grupo de 10 personas nos atendieron con muy mala actitud, además nos llevaron los alimentos que no eran. Se supone que íbamos a cenar y pasar un rato agradable y más bien fue desagradable. Aprovechamos en lo que nos servían los alimentos que por cierto tardaron muchísimo en dar una vuelta por el lobby del hotel y una persona muy desagradable atrás de nosotros como si fuéramos unos delincuentes. Cero recomendable por las tarifas que cobran deberían de tener un servicio de primera. Hay mejores opciones a los alrededores con mejor servicio. Somos clientes frecuentes y ese fue el trato, no quiero imaginar personas que van por primera vez.
