"This classic hotel has everything to get a 5* review, the views (even more if you ask for a sea view room), the decor (if you like great beginning XX century style, the space (large and well kept), the staff (nice, competent and helpful). But the SPA is below what it should be (average massage , normal circuit) as well as the restaurants a good menu but average cooking. It could have been a 5 so expensive for a 4 experience."

"Great apartments. Really spacious and clean. Loved having 2 bathrooms so we could shower etc at the same time to save time. Good kitchen and only about 10 min drive to the beach or the supermarket. Nice pool and sun decks. Well situated between Portimao, Carvoeiro and Albufeira. The kitchen is quite basic with no “starter package” so that would be nice to have a couple bin bags some soap and a scrubby or sponge upon arrival."

"Lovely family run hotel. 4 star so rooms were a bit basic but comfortable. Beds could do with being bigger than a standard double! Good pillows! Air con seemed to be “turned down” as we couldn’t get it to blow cold air out. I suspect because the temperature outside wasn’t scorchio, they decided it wasn’t needed, but it was for us Brits! Lovely friendly staff who couldn’t do enough for you; they kept the kitchen open when we first arrived so we could have a late lunch, really appreciated. Pool area good if a little quiet. Good location, slightly out of town, but an easy walk in. Old fashioned hairdryers in bathrooms. Overall clean and comfortable."
