Days Inn by Wyndham St Peters/St Charles

Sheets were stained. They never apologized for that. Woke up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom and found roaches. Hardly no food at breakfast. The claimed they had a pool on line, when we get there we are informed that the hotel is old and it doesn't have a pool. Hotel has potential, but needs some TLC, and a lil honesty!!!!

Although this hotel came highly rated, our experience was disappointing. The room was sparse, and the bathroom had loose tiles with visible mold. The hallways were poorly lit, creating an uncomfortable atmosphere — not ideal when traveling alone with my 12-year-old. We only stayed for one night, and honestly, I was relieved to leave.

Ick, won't stay there again for that amount of mo. The metal skirts on the bed springs could be heard from all rooms around us, when people kept bumping into them. We could hear a lot of noise from the rooms since all the carpeting had been removed. The bathroom was dirty, repairs done on the room was poorly done, sheets had stains. The room reminded me of the rent for an hour motels that my father would stay in when he was a traveling salesman.

First we tried calling them hours in advance to let them know we were running behind with arriving due to a concert. We called 28 times during a 2 hr time span and they did not answer the phone whatsoever. Then we arrive to the hotel around midnight and its super dark, and eery , front desk staff informed us that we can not walk heavy due to below neighbors. Found that odd. Facility is very old, stained carpets throughout, and horrible smell throughout. We entered the room, there is black mold in the bathroom shower/tub, rust on the on the shower knobs, stained carpet, and a smell that will make you gag. Smells like mildew and smoke heavily. We were in the room for 10 minutes and we decided to leave. The front desk refused to give us a refund. Its now the next day and i have been calling since 8am because i provided a different card for charges and they charged that but they also charge my friends reservation card # for initial hold and now one is answering once again, I have called the reservation line and they arent answering for them either. Its 11am now. $200 bucks down the drain. I have stayed in quiet a few hotels in my life and this by far was one of the worst!!!! DO NOT STAY HERE.

Nice hotel in a safe area. Normally do not stay at days inn, but this one was actually decent pricing and good area. Did not feel unsafe.
