Oa Oa Lodge

No air conditioning, no air conditioning, no air conditioning! There is no air conditioning in a humid and hot place, so you need to open the door for ventilation, but there are many mosquitoes in the courtyard. The room stuff is very old. There was another group of guests that day who, like us, decided to find another hotel to stay as soon as they entered the room!

J’ai beaucoup aimé mon séjour dans cet hôtel. J’ai logé dans la lodge jardin, donc je ne sais pas ce que valent les lodges pilotis. L’accueil était agréable, la chambre et salle de bain propres avec le nécessaire à disposition. L’hôtel possède une petite piscine à débordement très sympa, un ponton pour les excursions et les baignades, une boutique, mais surtout un très très bon restaurant, le Gecko ! C’est un bon établissement si l’on veut séjourner en hôtel à Bora Bora sans payer des sommes affolantes, cependant il y a quand même des choses à savoir. Le Oa Oa se trouve en bord de route principale, ce qui veut dire un flux constant de voitures, scooters et camions, avec les Klaxons et la musique qui va avec, de jour comme de nuit. Ça ne m’a pas spécialement dérangée car j’ai des bouchons d’oreille, mais c’est à savoir. Si de jour, l’hôtel est bien positionné par rapport à la proximité avec Vaitape (faisable à pied), la nuit et surtout le week-end (la bringue), on peut entendre toutes les musiques à fond des soirées qui résonnent dans la baie.

Very nice complex and friendly staff. We didn't have a bungalow directly on the sea, but you can get the impression of being in the front row from the terrace or the pool. Thanks to Lisa and Teiwa. It was a wonderful week.

Very noisy, bungalow layout in poor condition, especially the kitchen area and the bathroom. Very few kitchen utensils. No compassion with the customer. When we tell them that we did not sleep, we are told: you took the cheapest bungalow (€125)!! The view of the garden is in fact the view of a wall!!
