Traditional Japanese inn, no hot water in the room, very inconvenient

The room has a beautiful autumn mountain view. It is a unique and beautiful experience to have breakfast and dinner delivered to the room and enjoy the beautiful view. The staff are very friendly and the old building decoration in the hotel lobby is also very beautiful.

A large inn in Oigami Onsen. We stayed here for a day trip. There are three indoor and outdoor baths. One is for women only, and the rest are mixed. The indoor bath has a chlorine smell because of the circulation, and all guests use the outdoor bath. The bathing fee is 1000 yen per hour, with an additional 1000 yen for each additional hour. The two outdoor baths have different spring quality, and the large outdoor bath at the back had a nice view. The hot spring is slightly warm, so you can take a long bath. There were white hot spring deposits in the middle outdoor bath.

This was my second trip to Gunma after Minakami last week. I searched around Numata, but decided to stay at a business hotel in Oigami. Route 120 is the route I used to take for skiing 30 years ago. There are more tunnels now, so it's more comfortable. I followed the signs down the hill to Oigami Onsenkyo, and found a group of hotels and inns with a good appearance... To be honest, it felt so deserted that I thought about turning back, but I arrived at the inn. I was relieved to be greeted warmly. I immediately headed to the open-air bath. There are four open-air baths, and the water quality at the farthest one was slightly different, a little slimy, which made my skin smooth. For the price, I was able to relax and eat in my room. It was a nice inn with a Showa-era feel. I'd like to come again next time.
