i have stayed here a few times now and i love this place . rooms are decently priced , clean and quite big . owner is a a lovely lady and always friendly and welcoming . briarcliff motel is also walking distance to many restaurants and a service station right next door so very convenient. There’s also complimentary ready made coffee and little snacks at the office which is awesome ! Would highly recommend staying here !

The property itself was in dire need of upgrade. The furniture was stained and filthy. The sheets were dirty. We had to switch to another room, had the same problem. The frame to the bathroom doors are broken. The internet does not work. The best part of staying there was leaving. This was gross.

Good choice for a last minute stay
After a long, fun-filled day in the sun we decided to stay instead of make an almost 4 hour drive home. The front desk called to confirm we didn’t need 2 beds, as we had booked a room with one bed. Upon check- in we learned that we were the last check-in. The hotel was fully booked. We requested extra towels because they’d never dry in the humidity overnight and they were happy to provide more.

Front office staff was very nice and friendly. Room seemed clean but shower curtain was falling apart, and stained. Room was very small, and so was bathroom. Heard room above us walking around.

This is the worst place I have ever stayed. There was a 2 foot brown stain on the bottom sheet on one of the beds. The curtain was falling apart and fell off repeatedly. Parts of the bathroom did not seem clean. The bathtub had not been rinsed, and one of us slipped and got hurt. Upon grabbing the handicapped handle, it came off the wall. The place completely creeped me out.
