Evan, the manager checked us in. He was welcoming, knowledgeable of the area , and very accommodating. The motel proved a great value for the money.

Stayed at Eastern Inn - our 4th time there-rates are great- clean with friendly staff. We go to the Fryburg Fair/ knowing all the back roads is an enormous help on those busy days.

This is an old fashioned motel. Clean, comfortable bed. Coffee was provided but only powdered milk. Air con is very powerful but noisy. It was ok for a two night stay

I stayed at The Colonial Motel in N. Conway New Hampshire in September. Extremely nice room in the back section .I had spoken to the lady, who is the owner on the phone and at check in. She was extremely nice. The man, I assume was her husband, should find another business to be in, or not directly interacting with the guests. I would have stayed two more nights but declined.

I have known about this motel for decades and assumed by the reviews that it had been remodeled or renovated or at best…cleaned! We walked in to the room and I almost cried. There were stains on the furniture, stains on the sheets and it was just not clean at all. We ended up not even unpacking and leaving to find another place to stay. We had to forfeit our money but it was worth it to not have to sleep in that room or shower in the bathroom.

Room seemed clean. (#22) Hot tub in room was clean, but the drain stopper doesn't work, Tried to use a washcloth to hold the water in , didn't work. Pool looked ok. Didn't use shower, left early in the am and showered at home. When we crawled in bed my husband found a DEAD HORNET IN THE BED UNDER THE TOP SHEET. Needless to say, neither one of us slept very well and left at 8 am . I had called the front office at 5:31 pm to see if it was possible to have a fire in their fire pit out front. ( didn't know if there was a fire ban in the area) ad received a call back at 9.24 pm. We were already in bed sleeping. Ok view out back . I guess the staff was OK, I didn't speak with anyone personally.

Worst place
We stayed only one night out of the original three. When we arrived there were stains all over bed towels with pee stains gave us a single sheet to sleep with floor was gross smelt like a nursing home. Wanted a refund and wasn’t able to receive one. Do not stay here.

Easy check in and check out. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Location is perfect. Cleanliness of room and linens could be better.
