Great location and value for money. Staff very friendly and helpful. They gave us the apartment for no charge as it was unused as zi am disabled. Only downside was needed more milk for my tea in room but husband said well it is a pub. The rolling river was a great view out the window and field out the back with camper vans and picking tables. Felt very comfortable with the place

Really enjoyed the stay here, in the countryside, quiet. My room was phenomenal, a suite with separate seating area and TV with a super comfy bedroom. Decor was in great condition and the view over the river was stunning. Food in the restaurant was good and a bargain price with the 10% discount you receive for staying there. Staff were great warm and friendly. Would definitely stay here again.

We stayed for 2 nights in the Apartment which is the only room which has it's own private bathroom. Large private carpark and we were given clear instructions on how to access room with a key code. Apartment was lovely and spacious, with a huge TV and comfortable bedroom. There was a lack of equipment in the shared kitchen, very little cutlery, mugs etc but when we questioned this were told items are taken by guests. Had a meal in the restaurant which was excellent.

The room was Good Value for money, and both clean and comfortable. Unfortunately it seems that a single bathroom has to be shared by at least four of the bedrooms which whilst not a problem during my stay (not all rooms were occupied) would deter me from staying again when busy.

The bed was very comfortable and the TV had a wide range of content to watch with good sound quality. The shower in the shared bathroom was of excellent standard. The only thing I wish I knew was that breakfast was only available via pre-order before I checked in and that it wouldn't be available on Wednesdays. Also some of the corridor needed to be dusted as it looked unclean.

Don't bother if you want to get some sleep We arrived and was shown to our room which had a separate entrance at the back of the pub, we were shown around and just to note it is a shared bathroom which isn't advertised when booking. The room was clean, the blinds dont fit the windows properly and there were no curtains, due to the lighting on the building it wasn't dark in the room at all. We were staying here as we were playing in a sporting event nearby and had to be up very early on the sunday morning. They had karaoke on in the pub the Saturday evening, which was so loud it was like they were in the bedroom with you. Despite signs all around advertising quiet hours outside the building, this obviously didn't apply to the pub! The karaoke was advertised as finishing by 11pm, annoying when you want to go to bed early but we did expect some noise. The problem was that as 11pm approached and went, the music and singing actually got louder and people congregated outside the door to the accommodation making lots of noise. It got to the point where i had to go into the pub to find out when the karaoke would be ending as it was well past the advertised time and they were cranking the sound up, the gentleman i spoke to asked the guy running the karaoke when it was finishing and his reply was its on all night, im guessing he thought he was funny but at this point id had enough. I was informed that it would be finished in 10 mins, i went back up and eventually after another 20-30 mins it finally finished.
