Scandic Strömmen

Room was good and seemed clean. Garage was full so had to try to find public parking place. They gave some instructions from reception, but still it took maybe closer to one hour to find a valid slot for parking. We mentioned about allergies for breakfast when arrived the hotel. The receptionist told that there are big selection of all kind of necessary diets and staff will help so it is not necessary to tell those (although I told those). But in the morging the breakfast wasn't so good that we had been told. And there were only a very few things that suited for our child and the staff couldn't help cause they weren't prepared the are someone with so many allergies. Anyway we were prepared for this and had something own for our child to eat in the morning.

In general, the stay was good. The breakfast is very good. There is a rich buffet, sausages, cheese, scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, fruit, vegetables, yogurt, different kinds of bread, buns etc. There is a sauna and two small pools on the roof top where you can relax, which is a bit limited at weekends when there are many families with children. A sauna session or relaxing in the pool is then difficult and if you don't like it, you don't have to use it. On the negative side, there was a weekend when young sports teams stayed at the hotel. It was very loud, there was running in the corridors, shouting, banging on the doors, the doors were constantly slammed and there was leftover food everywhere in the corridors while the parents were sitting at the bar and didn't care. Unfortunately there are no closets in most rooms and not enough hangers, and unfortunately there is no kettle in the room either. Remember your USB chargers, as the sockets do not have USB ports, as is now standard in many hotels. The central location with several restaurants within walking distance is positive. However, the prices are quite high.
