Our week-long trip to Sweden included stays at three different Scandic hotels, and unfortunately, the check-in experience at this particular Scandic was a significant low point. As a family of five, we had booked two separate rooms. To our surprise, my wife and I were required to check in separately at different counters. Even more frustrating, we both had to fill out paper forms with all our personal information, including our social security numbers. When I inquired about the necessity of this, I was informed it was a Scandic policy for guests without a Swedish ID. This was particularly perplexing given that Scandic already had all our relevant information from our reservation, and I am also a member of their Scandic Friends loyalty program. Despite having paid for our rooms in advance, we were both required to scan our credit cards during check-in, even though there wasn't even a mini-bar in the room. This added to our frustration. In stark contrast, our check-in experiences at the other Scandic hotels were seamless and pleasant, handled efficiently at one counter without any handwritten forms or unnecessary credit card scans. Beyond the frustrating check-in, our room was uncomfortably hot. While the breakfast offered good quality, the dining area was exceptionally crowded.

Old tired hotel.Looks like 80.Stay somewhere else .The money you pay should get u a better hotel like the comfort Hotel.Dont stay here if u have another choice
