This was a brilliant stay. Such a relaxing week. Even though it rained most the day, watching the rain in the villa was just therapeutic.
At check-in, they will introduce the F&B credit system. I highly recommend to get it. We got 10 million rupiah and only paid for 8 million. They had a 20% discount. So pay for 8 million and receive 10 million. Great deal for a 6 nights stay.
You should try the steak at Tadd’s restaurant. If you like the local dishes, then go to Warung’s. We also had the in-villa BBQ where you have an option to have the chef BBQ for you with a waiter serving you in the villa or you can BBQ yourself in the villa. They will get everything ready for you and seat up everything in the villa. We tried both types of BBQ. Overall the food is amazing.
There are many activities for you but we were just contended with the Spa. We had foot massages and body massages. They also have showers in the room. I tried the Men’s Vitality Massagr; 90mins of massage followed by 15mins of sauna 🤙🏽
Just a warning though, going back home will be a drag.

Had a great 4 days stay! Shuttle bus transfer from Nongsapura ferry terminal was very smooth with Montigo resort staff being ready to welcome us and assist with our luggage onto the bus. Checking in was a breeze too. I was given a beeper and waited to be called as there were quite a few guests checking out when we arrived. Front desk staff Febri is very efficient and explained everything super clearly. On the second day we required more drinking water and Kiki from housekeeping was very helpful by providing bottled water to both of our seaview villa units. We ordered in-villa dining and also dined at The Warung. A must-try are their Bakar Iga Madu and Ayam Panggang Berempah. However, the Mie Goreng Jawa is too salty for us. Besides having a great session in the personal KTV room at Tiigo Bar and shoot some hoops at the small basketball area, the sports & activities staff Indra went the extra mile to help dry out the tennis court after the rain stopped to let us hit a few rallies before our check out. Overall, the resort is worth the stay even though it needs some maintenance and upgrade due to its age - more than 10 years old. My family and I would stay there again.

We stayed 3 nights here for our wedding anniversary. The compound is huge, but they have a 24hr buggy service from your doorstep to anywhere. The room was large and spacious and has all the amenities you need, including Netflix for the TV. Private pool right outside the room. The service staff were ever so friendly and helpful. Loved our stay!

Everything is perfect. The view is the main highlight and a perfect distraction from every other thing that I could pick on — minimal amenities. Depends on how you look at it — (1) 5-star resort with lacking amenities (only dental kit, towels and soap); or (2) top-down approach yield larger impact on the environment, in this case, reducing wastes.
3/5 stars for these reasons:
- minimal amenities because i’d be so bummed if i wasn’t prepared with my own sets
- placement of power sockets are a little odd; no extra beside beds (i shifted the bed lamp), no socket near a mirror for hair dryer (only socket in the toilet is for shaver only)
- no full length mirror in the entire villa

This was actually a birthday trip for my son, but it wasnt that happy overall and my boy was very disappointed. We came here 7yrs ago though it was much better.
This time round, I feel the resort was abit rundown and our room was leaking with water. The manager was nice to change the room for us though.
However breakfast wise wasn’t that good neither, the standard has dripped a lot.

Although the resort is a bit far from the city center, the service here is exceptionally good. The staff are warm and attentive, and the environment is beautiful and peaceful. I really enjoyed my stay and can’t wait to come back again!💖
