My dream was to spend overnight in a real Castle. This is a Norman Castle made into a 6 room luxury hotel at an affordable price. It did not disappoint. Little touches like a blue motion detector low light in the bathroom and complimentary bottled water in your room fridge. Quietly opening drawers and cupboards, automatic light in the wardrobe with free use dressing gown and slippers. Free selection of teas and coffees 24 hours a day in a luxury lounge with panoramic views. On arrival we were show personally to our room and the attention she paid to us made us feel like very valued, special guests We stayed on the 3rd floor in The Nest. It was lovely, with beautiful cotton sheets and a very comfortable bed. I slept like a baby, it was pitch black and I never heard a single sound. Breakfast was served in a peaceful relaxed atmosphere with soft background music. The food was impeccable and there was nothing I needed to ask for. If anything I was disappointed that I wasn't here longer. One night was not enough!! I will be back!

I wanted to book something special for our 35th Anniversary & have to say Roch Castle staff were an absolute joy to deal with, from confirming the booking with reception to arranging the massage treatment to the lovely touch on our arrival of a card & gift. we had one of the highest rooms with spectacular vistas over Milford Haven, The Castle is exceptional & fully deserving of its 5 star rating with 6 beautiful rooms which despite being refurbished to a high standard still retain the original features, a luxurious central lounge area with a charming honesty bar. If anyone is thinking of visiting St Davids or the very close Newgale beach, this is a perfect base. It’s quite fitting we chose this for our 35th anniversary as the stroll to the local pub was like stepping back in time, from the appearance of the surrounding properties, friendly locals to the grass verges being well kept & not being overgrown with weeds, a car passing every minute instead of every second, you can almost feel the stress fall away.. Thank you again, we will return. Highly recommended.

Staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful, the hotel throughout was very clean and tidy, spectacular historic setting with amazing views, the interior design was fantastic and well thought out. Lovely peaceful, relaxing and comfortable setting. Breakfast was delicious and very well presented,with plenty of choice. Couldnt fault anything about the overall experience. Very secure and scenic grounds with ample parking. Would definitely recommend and cannot wait to go back.

Everything about our stay at Roch Castle was simply splendid. From the moment we arrived, the attention to detail was second to none. The castle itself is breathtaking, seamlessly blending its rich history with modern, tasteful decor. Every room was spotlessly clean—absolutely deserving of a 5-star rating for cleanliness. The atmosphere was serene and peaceful, making it the perfect place to relax and unwind. The staff were exceptionally pleasant and made us feel warmly welcomed throughout our stay. Breakfast was a highlight—delicious and made with fresh, local produce. Truly, there isn’t a single thing I would have changed. I couldn’t fault the experience in any way. Roch Castle exceeded every expectation, and I will 100% be returning. Highly, highly recommend!

Roch Castle Hotel was one of the best 'WOW' hotels we have ever stayed in. Was a great location with beautiful surroundings. The room was spotless and comfortable, with excellent views. Breakfast was delicious. The hotel staff were incredibly friendly and efficient. Everything about the hotel was exceptional!

It was so cool staying in a 900 year old structure. As far as castles go it’s a bit in the smaller side. Various places in the structure allowed for the stone to remain visible which I liked. If you’re adverse to stairs be sure and request a lower room as the top floor is more than 70 steps. The common area lounge is nice and has an area having honor snacks and small bottles of spirits for purchase. The breakfast was typical of the other UK B&B’s we’ve stayed at. Although they do have American style pancakes. If you’re wanting lunch or dinner the Victoria Inn is just a five minute drive, and it’s good. The car lot has room for all guests. The staff was pleasant and efficient.
