I was surprised that a Hilton hotel would be so dirty. The floor mat at the check in desk was stained and was in dire need of vacuuming. Walking down the hall to the room, the carpeting was also in need of vacuuming. Upon entering the room, there were shreds of something on the floor. The sofa was stained with God knows what. Some type of liquid or food stains. I would not sit on the sofa. Inside the drawers hadn't been cleaned out. They needed to be vacuumed. Needless to say, I didn't put anything in the drawers. Shall I go on? The second I opened the door I was hit with a stench that smelled like either super bug spray or some other chemical. it filled the entire room. if it were earlier in the evening and had I been staying for more than one night, I would have asked to change rooms, but I was very tired. This smell really put a major damper on my mini vacation. When I got home, I noticed that all the clothes in my suitcase were infested with that odor. Everything had to be washed, including the unworn items. The hotel clerk who checked us in had no personality whatsoever. When a questioned was asked, like what room number was I assigned, she wouldn't tell me. She just slid the key over and said to look in the envelope, like some kind of game show. No one was nearby to listen in. She had an overall annoyed look on her face the entire time. On previous reviews, I saw that someone else commented on a smell in the room but I thought, what would be the chances of getting the same room. I guess the chances were good. On a good note, the beds were fairly comfortable and the pillows were soft. I must say though, for a Hilton property, I was quite disappointed.

Every associate we interacted with met us with a smile, a hello and made eye contact with us. They were very accommodating & helpful. The rooms were large, beds very comfortable & clean. The entire property was clean and inviting. The kids loved the pool area. We will definitely be using this location for future stays.
