Thin walls, unprofessional service, avoid at all costs. The owners asked for cash payment, which was a red flag but we decided to give them the benefit of the doubt because we prefer to support local businesses instead of giving our money to a chain hotel. The untrained member of the family who was filling in for the owners completely mishandled a misunderstanding about children on the premises, using an inappropriate and hostile tone with my family. When my husband and I decided to leave early following this encounter and pay our due after the second night, after I asked for a receipt, the woman accused us of shortchanging her because we had supposedly booked a 3rd night. We had to leave and book elsewhere, as our entire weekend getaway had become stressful as a result of this horrible experience. I am a seasoned traveler who has stayed in hotels all over Europe, and in the Americas. Never have I been treated so poorly and with such blatant disregard. Never again!

Wij verbleven er op doorreis terug naar huis. Hartelijke welkom van de sympatieke gastvrouw, een mooie ruime kamer in een stadswoning met de allures van een oud Frans herenhuis. De gastvrouw was bijzonder behulpzaam bij het vinden van een restaurant zelfs op het late uur van aankomst. Het ontbijt is eenvoudig maar vers en ruim voldoende. Niort verdient het om langer dan 1 nacht te verblijven - het stadje oogt in eerste instantie verloederd maar bij nader inzien is het meer dan het bezoeken waard. Het ruime zwembad is zeker een meerwaarde.

Accueil très chaleureux, belle maison de centre ville, pratique, accessible, petits restos à proximité, décors de bon goût et chambres confortables, petit déjeuner copieux, serviettes moelleuses, rien à dire, à expérimenter ! J'ai passé un excellent moment !

juste parfait rien à redire, trés bon accueil avec une réservation sur le pouce pour le soir même chambre spacieuse et trés propre et petit déjeuner copieux avec des hôtes trés sympathiques seul bemol difficile de se garer si la place dépose minute est prise devant !

Belle maison non loin du centre ville. Le seul petit bémol est l'absence de parking mais un parking payant se trouve non loin. Chambre spacieuse et joliment décorée. Piscine végétalisée vraiment très agréable. Accueil sympathique. Petit déjeuner simple mais correct.
