Hotels near Ningbo Museum, Ningbo

This hotel had some wonderful review which actually led me to book it for the first time . This was my third visit to the property. Based on my experience over the three visit which were rather lengthy this hotel’s target market is predominantly local market . If compared to their international franchise 4 star peers the hotel lacks in many areas. 1. They offer a good spread of buffet breakfast but the assortment is mostly focused on locals guests . The selection seldom changes. 2. The bakery products offered were not fresh . Found to be cold and stale 3. Fresh fruits were found to be mixed with stale ones , not sure if they used the ones from the previous days . 4. House keeping was not the best , often found coffee-tea cups not cleaned or replaced . 5. Requested for in room complimentary coffee instead of tea . They sell coffee pouches at lobby, but instead they ask me to go down and ask for coffee at the lobby. 6. The small gym does not have any sanitiser tissue to clean the equipment before use . 7. At the lobby they have a cafe which is also the office for the hotel management staff. In the evening the area is completely mosquito infested , difficult to sit even for 5 minutes . 8. The hotel turned off the Cookson’s system , inside room temperature went up to 29 degree C. After repeated request they did something but that also did not take the temperature below 24 Degrees. 9. The hotel needs serious consideration about training the lobby staffs . A simple way to explain is their face is curved in stone . No emotion! 10. They need to review their safety protocol, they sent my guest directly to the room without even asking . For many my comments may not matter for some it may . I have spent almost 10 days on my last visit so I can’t ignore those . The best part of the stay was Mary ( forgot to ask her position). I think she’s the manager . She is the ideal face of a hotel . She has been the most pleasant and supportive among all the staffs at the hotel.

Very comfortable hotel, the bed is very soft and comfortable, the air conditioning is very convenient, the breakfast is rich and delicious, the service is super considerate, the front desk is very gentle, and the environment is beautiful

Great hotel, conveniently located near a subway station from where you can quickly reach the city center and tourist attractions such as The Bund. The service was friendly and left nothing to be desired. We also enjoyed the breakfast buffet with Chinese and even a few western dishes (no coffee, but that’s China). I would recommend the hotel without hesitation.

Great hotel. I visit Ningbo very often. I stayed at this hotel several times. I try to book a room with a balcony. Cleaning every day, very friendly staff, there is breakfast, there is laundry and a small gym. The hotel is located in the very center of the city, very close to the train station. Not far from the hotel there is a central square where various shops and restaurants are located. Very close to the historical quarter in the colonial style. I recommend this hotel to everyone.

Excellent location near to Tianyi Square; very convenient to go to everywhere due to its location and public transporation. The facilities are provided almost the same as other 5 star hotels. A diversity of foods for breakfast, which means a great deal of options to meet everyone's needs and taste. I would certainly choose this hotel once again when visiting Ningbo next time. One more thing: the manager is extremely nice when asked if my room can be changed so that the view of the river can be enjoyed. She did help me to change the room. A very pretty girl.

Good hotel located just a 5 minute walk away from Tianyi square. The breakfast area was being renovated when I stayed, so didn't try the breakfast buffet. The room was clean and equipped with all basic amenities. Great value for money!

Although the hotel is mediocre, I won't say anything about the dusty floors in other hotels I stayed in later. Probably Ningbo is dustier 🤷🏻♀️The flaws do not outweigh the merits. The location is good. Tianyi Square is downstairs. B&C is behind Huawei. The service is great and responsive. The child was given a remote control car and 4 batteries (btw the car has 3 batteries and the remote control has 2 batteries, but it should be 5 batteries). Many bottles of water are delivered every day. There are also self-service washing machines and dryers. It rained on the second day of my two-day stay, and all the clothes were wet. I washed and dried them all. After I rubbed my socks by hand, I put them in the washing machine to wash and then turned on the self-cleaning function (because the washing machine said not to put underwear and socks in, so I put them in to dehydrate after hand washing) I'd like to insert a video here. I ordered fruit takeaway in the evening. The guy brought milk tea from another hotel and called me again and again. I didn't answer. Is it my problem? Finally told me I got the wrong one, so I can just cancel the order on Ele.me (I was confused when I called and they said they would refund me privately and they hung up before I finished talking about the operation) The front desk lady sent me takeaway twice, and I told them it was milk tea and it was not mine 🤦🏻♀️ Sorry ladies First time visiting Ningbo, how do you feel? There are not many people here. When I was shopping, I was wondering where there are outlet stores to visit. But I saw on Xiaohongshu that the highest sales volume is 7.5 billion per year in Tianyi Square, but the total population is only 3 million? Shocked... No wonder there are so many things... But management... I don't know what the people's servants are doing. The roadway needs to be written with ”yield to pedestrians, give way to pedestrians” (I can see the roadway downstairs from my room). It's so funny, can't you just deduct points and fine if you don't give way to pedestrians? Also, even the business districts with the highest GDP don’t have well-planned buses around them. One time, my child had to take the subway and the subway took 3 stops. For the same line (the boarding and alighting points are close to the subway station), the bus stop has 4 stops, so the subway stations are very close... 🤷🏻♀️Isn’t it really convenient for the citizens... I’m not a native of this city and don’t quite understand... the ratio of one subway stop to three bus stops, and the subway goes through big stations, and buses go through small alleys, and there need to be more tourist routes with introductions. I’m not a person in the tourism or transportation industry, but while savoring this city, I lament that it’s very inconvenient to travel, the parking spaces are tight and not well planned and guided, and you’re just asked to follow the car forward, and there’s no sign. Each department performs its own duties and rarely works in coordination and cooperation, which is probably the current problem of this city... I look forward to seeing diligent public servants serving the people next time I come... after all, they’re good neighbors... haha ​​I’ll come again

I went to Putuo with my friends to pray for blessings. When I came back, I stayed in Ningbo for one night. I chose Tianyi Plaza, which was recommended by everyone. There are many hotels in the surrounding area. I saw this newly opened hotel and decided to try it out. The result was very surprising. Environment: Everything is very new, and the decoration in both the lobby and the rooms is of high quality. There is also an exclusive executive lounge in the lobby. Facilities: The room is fully equipped, including coffee, sleep aid tea, sleep aid aromatherapy... toiletries are also good, there is a gym and laundry room on the second floor, and every detail is considered. The breakfast in the room at this price is also excellent. I especially remember their health tea... Service: The staff were all very nice. They immediately brought hot tea to the hotel when we checked in. When we checked out, they also brought us two bottles of mineral water to drink on the road, because it was still warm in winter. But we were in a hurry to catch the flight and didn't take it. A very satisfying stay. The only drawback is that the smart device is not very smart and I can't even turn off the lights. I don't know if I didn't operate it correctly. But overall the price/performance ratio is very high and highly recommended…

Stayed for three nights. The hotel is generally good. The occupancy rate was high during the Chinese New Year. There were a lot of people at breakfast. Fortunately, the category was quite rich, and there were new things every day. The lady at the front desk also gave children breakfast. When we were taller than them, they also gave small gifts and water when we checked in and out. It was very humane.

The hotel is nice and room are spacious. The location is fine too. Breakfast is more Chinese stile oriented but there is a coffee machine and the coffee is fine. The only issue I had are bites all over my feet and legs by insects. I think it is due to the carpet floor both in the rooms and on each floor corridor.
