Breakwater Hostel
"I LOVED this hostel. The staff are great, super friendly, super helpful and very kind. The location is perfect, just off the main streets of town and in easy walking distance to both Fistral Beach and Towan Beach, not to mention all the beaches accessed from town itself. The place is absolutely perfect for surfers. You can hire wet suits, surf boards, body boards and even a skate board while you’re staying there and you can access the showers straight from the street without having to track sand through the hostel. They also have a fully functional kitchen and social areas to chill and meet people in. Great value for money too! I think this will be my new go-to place to stay whenever I visit Newquay in future! Thanks for having us!!"
Newquay Beach Hotel by Sunday ★★★★
"Amazing place. Me and my boyfriend come here all the time as a getaway and just to have a nice night when we go out to newquay. Great location near food/takeaways and arcades and close to the town. Beach front view and good prices with a decent checkout time for 11am. Stunning rooms and incredible customer service team who is there whenever you need them, incase u need extra towels etc. we are regulars"
St Christopher's Inn Newquay ★★
"Could not rate this stay higher! It’s the perfect location for a surfing holiday, you are literally right next to a surfing beach (and the best one in our opinion) and there is a surf school as well which we highly recommend. There are also hot outdoor showers and plenty of outdoor seating with sea views! The staff are also very friendly and welcoming. The food was great too and they do lots of offers and events in the week, like the free pup quiz which was great fun. We stayed in a private room (room 13) it was really lovey and clean, you also get a massive smart TV and a beautiful ocean view along with towels, toiletries and also usb charging ports (which is quite rare in most hotels). Along with the beach you are also right next to all the best cafes and tons of water sports places you can book too! Lastly the app room key feature is great, it means you don’t loose you key, you can contact staff at any point if you have a problem and it means you have 24 hours access to the hostel, so you don’t have to worry about getting locked out. All in all, could not rate this place higher! Terrific value, we will definitely be back"

"really good stay, lovely staff"
The Harbour
"Beautiful place, received a very warm welcome by the owner, he was such a kind guy, balcony and view of the harbour was breathtaking. There were a few quirks in the room, the curtains didnt seem to meet together fully as they couldn't get around the bend, so improvised with a couple of pegs to hold them shut and there was a stained glsss window in a diamond shape above the bed that may have let in light in the morning but found a perfect size cushion that neatly fitted in. I would definitely return and hopefully with better weather next time !!!!"
THE NICI Newquay
"Had a lovely stay, staff are very good and helpful especially Lizzie, Kerry and Robbie. Shame there was no lift or pool yet, but at least I got my steps in. I would recommend this hotel and I wish them all the best for the future.Regards Stuart Bell"
Esplanade Hotel
"Wonderful food, great location, excellent hospitality"
Barrowfield Hotel
"Room dated, needed a good clean. Marks on skirting boards and dressing table should not have been there. Divan base old, at least could've been hidden with a valance. View from window into someone elses room so had to keep curtains closed for privacy, as did the other room. Where do I start with the food - boring choices, orange juice or cereal to start, but not both. No pastries or fruit allowed if cooked option chosen. Food passed across other guests rather than around them, no table linen, incorrect cutlery supplied, food plonked on the table before you have sat down, we were playing pass the parcel with some of the meals. Plates scraped into a bin bag hanging off a trolley at the side of the dining table, even if others were still eating. We came to dinner and the used sauce sachet was still on the table from breakfast. Carrots served raw one evening on a roast dinner, manager apologised to the room but should not have happened. I had soup starter and asked for another roll as I hadn't opted for a main course, and had to wait for the waitress to check if there was a spare one - please!!!! I'm too fed up to continue writing... My advice, pay that bit extra and go to Newquay with Parry's, it's in a different class."
Newquay Bay Holiday Resort
"The caravan itself was very clean and lovely. The staff at the bar however were very rude and hostile. One girl with red/purple hair was nice. The girl with glasses however was rude towards my family, rolled her eyes at our drink order, and gave us dirty looks all evening. She really didn’t make this any easier for us and we didn’t feel welcome. The location was very convinte very close to Newquay beach. The rooms were also nice. It’s a shame they have some rude staff"
