The mattress was very comfortable. And the breakfast was the best “hotel breakfast” we’ve ever had! The bartender at WXYZ (I hate to say it, but I’ve forgotten her name) was extremely friendly and made plenty of suggestions for local food.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!! We visit Newport at least once a year and chose to stay here most of the time. After this visit, we will never be returning to this location or possibly to any Marriott. This place has gone downhill fast. This hotel is beyond disgusting and worse than a roadside motel. The beds were incredibly dirty, smelling like a masculine-scented body spray and with dead skin and nails discovered at the end of the bed. The shower drain and all its contents backed up into the shower stall and flooded the rest of the bathroom. The towels weren't clean, showing food bits and tiny hairs. Customer service is the worst, and the only thing they said about the complaints was that they would escalate it to upper management. I have yet to hear back from them, and the stay was deleted from my account, as if I was never there, so I can't contact them via app any longer or leave a review on their site or app.

Parking garage was hard to find. There is a garage directly under the hotel but no signs telling you that it's not the right one. The pool was also very cold. Room was small with no seating other than a single desk chair. Otherwise it was all just ok.

Had a very bad experience with the front desk manager, her name was sherry… She’s very rude and acts like you inconveniencing her… if she swirls there I wouldn’t advise anyone to stay there… Nesides her it’s a great place

The staff was great. It’s within walking distance to food, shopping, and entertainment. The parking garage is great. The bathroom sink was stopped up. The pool was gross and cloudy. The rug coming into the lobby is a tripping hazard.

Amazing hotel close to Newport on Levee
We booked last minute online once we got to Newport. Check in was easy. Staff friendly. Parking ($15) and hotel fee ($75) was additional to room charge, which wasn't a problem, just wished it was listed on the website. Room was amazing. Comfortable beds with plenty of pillows. Room darkening curtains kept light out. Very clean and modern. Only complaint was the sink is definately for anesthetic purposes and not function! When brushing teeth no water pressure. The whole hotel was super clean. Updated. We utilized the pool and workout room. There is also a bar and lounge area, with a pool table. Small breakfast area (breakfast is not included in hotel stay). There are also seating areas and desk area for work, if needed. This was a short walk to Newport on the Levee. Definately would stay here again!
