it was a cute hotel, not super dirty, BUT i was laying in bed and i had pincher bugs on me. The sauna broke the second night i was there. There isn't a broom or anything which you think there would be considering it's a beach side hotel, and there was no conditioner. not to mention the building itself was very run down and in need of upgrades, ESPECIALLY the pool room. Loud upstairs neighbors who didn't respect the quiet hours after 10pm. and there was unsupervised rowdy kids in the pool room. (if you're under 14 you need a parental with you.)

The hotel is fine, I have stayed there many times. Unfortunately for this reserved stay in July I had to cancel. I received an email comfirming that I would recieved a refund. It has been 22 days and I have not received. The commnunication is nonexistent. I have called and they just say it's been escalated. No refund yet, 3 weeks out. I will never book with OYO again.

Booked 3 rooms for 3 nights starting Monday, but the OYO booking system actually booked me for 6 rooms starting on Tuesday. Booked through the OYO site and was double charged - have not yet received a refund or an answer now when I can expect one. I've tried multiple methods to resolve the issue, including calling customer service, emailing escalations, attempting to email the faulty email provided by the customer service rep, completing the feedback survey to request a private contact, and even using the chat. However, the experience has been horrible, with OYO's customer service being subpar. Still waiting for any communication back. Emily at the Newport office has been helpful, but unfortunately, she can't do anything about it as the transaction happened w OYO.

Pool building is in terrible condition even though it was clean elaborate was small rocked and made a lot of noise and we canceled our stay for July on May 4th and still todate zero refund

Although it states that it is close to the beach (which it is) there is no beach access within walking distance ( for those with small children) no front desk service in the evenings, no lighting on our floor (outside access) did not feel safe to go to the car in the evening. No screens in windows to get fresh air. Breakfast was literally cereal- English muffins and bagels- Nothing else, nothing that a diabetic could enjoy- no protein.Very disappointing.

In die Jahre gekommenes Motel, SEHR ringhörig, Reception könnte freundlicher sein, Frühstück nur Grab and Go mit kleiner Auswahl, Sauberkeit knapp genügend da sehr feuchte Zimmer sowie miefende Kissenbezüge. Preis/Leistung in keinem Verhältnis🤷🏻♂️

This hotel was gross and dirty, run down and we contemplated just leaving when we saw the room and driving home all night, but were exhausted. The floors were dirty and carved into with hundreds of scratches, the shower curtain was torn, all the towels were stained, the bed spreads on two queen beds were stained, no drain cover in sink, the toilet had chunks missing from the seat cover, no screens on windows, the entry door was scratched up and hard to get the bolt to lock. It ruined our last day and instead of visiting the beach in the morning, we just wanted out of there and get home to take another shower. We paid $280 for a total dump. One of the worst hotel rooms and experiences I have ever had. That bad. Cigarette butts all over the broken stairs and property. We were third floor and my poor elderly mom had to climb up those stairs. The staff were friendly. The beach close. Not worth it. One and done. It needs a major overhaul.

Worst experience at the coast ever. I literally go all year round and have stayed in everything and this is bottom of the barrel. No hand soaps, conditioners shampoo, no extra blankets it was like a sheet and one hospital blanket with complementary blood stain. The bathtub had a fiberglass patch and the screens had been cut/removed, So dangerous if you have kids or pets like us. For the EXTREMELY high price of this room you can stay in a 2 bedroom cottage at the silver surf. Sorry I don’t write reviews but this requires one. Fair warning if you stay here!!!!

Not good!. We stayed there because we had friends staying there.. from the Midwest .,we live in Oregon .. I would not have picked it. Booking was horrible.. a call center that did not understand English with terrible yelling in the background they couldn’t get my email correct .. Im sure they ripped me off at $189/night .. if I had known I could have booked here in Travelocity ,, I would have done it .. never occurred to me. Grounds were filthy .. garbage outside the door cigarette butts and general refuse .. people smoking just outside rooms .. wafting into ours , door handles filthy, stuff spilled on interior tables , minimal breakfast.. go to nye beach cafe instead.. room could use lots more cleaning ..heat was up to max on arrival ＞100 degrees .. king bed comfortable seems like OYO took over an old hotel but did little to fix it up .only one staff person who probably is underpaid and could care less. Pick a better hotel!
