Coconut Palms Beach Resort II a Ramada by Wyndham

Second time here and want to come again next year. Nice pool and great location on the beach. Room was neat and clean. People very friendly and helpful.

My family and I have been coming to this resort for years. It’s usually a very pleasant vacation at an economical price. It’s not an over the top nice place, but it’s affordable. And worth the price that you’re paying. Until now. Now they are charging their guests $10 a day to park their cars. As if the $1300 for 4 nights isn’t enough. Personally, I would rather that they upped the price of the room $10 a night instead of springing a parking fee on their guest once they arrive in town as most people come from out of state. To add to that, this time the room is less than well maintained and the refrigerator is missing a shelf and it has a broken shelf. There’s no cabinet doors under the sink, only a piece of cardboard screwed to the front of it that’s not even cut straight. And the bathroom smells like somebody used it just before we walked in the place. Honestly, the parking fees are just another rip off and another fee that we have never had to pay in the years of us staying here in a sub standard beach resort that is coconut palms too.

Rented two one bedroom condos in the month of August. The checkin process was quick. No issues. The rooms were clean. I asked for adjoining rooms with an ocean view. We were given both. We did have to move the dining table from one room to the other and combine them as they were very small. Plenty of parking. The ocean view was spectacular. All the employees we encountered were very friendly. The hotel is close to many restaurants. Publix is with a mile or two. Flagler Street is within walking distance on the beach. Disney or St. Augustine, both a little over an hour away. Hopefully we'll be able to return when the Tiki bar is refurbished. Great additions to the large pools. Suggestion: Free coffee in the lobby. I will say I was a little hesitant to book this resort due to some of the reviews. #1 The resort is showing signs of remodeling. #2 The resort was super clean as well as our studio. We encountered staff cleaning nonstop. We had no issues with our stay. #3 If you really look you will find some older issues but they are remedying what they can. #4 We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the staff including the front desk was amazing. If you are looking for a high end resort....then pay the high end price somewhere else. If you want a nice clean place to spend your time then this resort will not disappoint. the pools were amazing and the walk to the beach super short. You could also walk to the best of flagler ave.

The property location is unbelievable. The room is a bit worn. The front desk staff is very accommodating and friendly. I would highly recommend this place and will be staying here again.

Loud A/C in room Very loud AC in room. I asked to be moved after one night. Front desk said I had to pay $100 cleaning fee. The rate was per night. Inject time I should make two separate day reservations, or better yet pick another place. They do not advertise but they are charging for parking,
