My partner and I had a lovely meal at Hotel Penwig. My partner had the delicious cowboy burger which he paired with a pint of cruzcampo. I had the Steak Americano cooked medium rare, it was spot on! We also had Cheesy garlic bread as our starters. The atmosphere was cosy and warm and our server Colin was especially attentive and friendly. When we visit New Quay again we will definitely pop in. Thank you Colin for a lovely experience at Hotel Penwig!

Food was lovely! I had fish and chips, and sticky toffee. Generous portion sizes, very reasonable prices. And the barman was lovely :) Good selection of drinks. Good menu with options to suit everyone. Facilities were clean and tidy, and if you bag a window seat the views are wonderful!

Staff were lovely, always helpful, very professional and all knew their jobs very well. Comfortable clean hotel in prime location. Beautiful sea views. Food excellent, freshly prepared, good choice and reasonable prices. Good portion sizes. Hope to book again for next year. Very popular hotel ideally book a table for food.

Had a visit here for food with my daughter and friend to celebrate my daughters birthday, staff were great, friendly and helpful. Food was tasty and good value for money. Special thank you to Gemma who put candles in my daughter choc fudge cake for that extra birthday touch. Thanks all

Much improved budget chain hotel. Ideally centrally located hotel in NewQuay village by the beach and pier. Well worth a visit for a couple to few days. Outside street parking with no time restrictions from 01/11 on!

My wife and I recently stayed at Hotel Penwig, and it was a fantastic experience. The views from our room were absolutely stunning, making our stay even more memorable. The accommodation was spotless and very comfortable. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, making us feel right at home. We also enjoyed delicious meals during our stay, with both the evening dinner and breakfast being highlights. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay and will definitely be returning!

A great place to stay. A view to die for and Newquay is brilliant to visit. Plenty of walks, Dolphin watching and plenty of places to eat and drink.

Went there today for a roast dinner. The food was horrible, my family had the roast beef and it was the end of the beef that was inedible and dry, I had the roast chicken and had to send it back as the middle was freezing. They did sort it and gave me a different plate instead of heating up what I had. The gravy was so lumpy and thick you couldn't get it out of the jug. The mash and veg were ok but the yorkshire pudding was flat and oily. The roast potatoes have never seen an oven, they were boiled to death. Would not recommend here and to be honest I feel sick thinking about our meal. Very disappointed.

Having to complete some work and needing a quiet space to work I nipped in to have a quick bite to eat and work while I ate. I had a lovely gammon steak and chips which was followed by a chocolate brownie sundae. The two people working Mandy and Colin were smiling and happy all the way through and were happy to let me sit and get on with the work I needed to do. Excellent food, good service and a lovely environment. Cheers Penwig staff see you soon
