"Overall, it is a cost-effective hotel in Naxatere. The surrounding environment is good and the traffic is convenient. The only bad thing is that there will be noise when the buffet downstairs is closed at night."

"The biggest advantage of this hotel is the excellent soundproofing! There is a city activity day on the weekend. I know it is extremely noisy outside, but I can hardly hear the sound. "A suite on the water is quite expensive, but worth every penny. Sleeping on the water, secluded from view, jumping into the lake from your private terrace—where else can you find that? Unfortunately, the restaurant is highly uninspiring (we only tried it twice during our three stays...). It's better to buy some bread and cheese in town, order a nice salad from room service, and enjoy the terrace. A very special place, with some drawbacks in terms of both food and service."

"The hotel is located in the center of the city with grand lake view. It’s walking distance to the town with lots of good restaurant options. The hotel itself has a restaurant but it doesn’t open on Mon. The food is delicious. One bottle of water is provided and you can either order room service for water or buy water from nearby coops. "I was looking for another hotel in Neuchâtel, since I was fed up with the previous one (Beaulac). I found this one, which is, after that first stay, my new place there! Check-in was efficient. I was given a nice room, with everything expected in a *** hotel. Breakfast was all right. And staff were all pleasant. A nice place to stay, close to everything in Neuchâtel."

"The location is excellent, and the unit itself was nice. Unfortunately, our experience getting into the property was one of the most frustrating travel experiences I've had. We booked through a third-party travel site and were not aware that check-in effectively ends at 7:00 PM. After arriving in Neuchâtel, we spent considerable time trying to locate the property. When we finally found it, we discovered it was closed. Since access is managed through the art gallery, there was no reception staff available, and the phone numbers posted on the door did not work. After a long international flight and while dealing with jet lag, we were left standing outside without access to our accommodations and ultimately had to book and pay for another hotel for the night. Later, after spending additional time searching online, I was able to find another contact number and received a response. My biggest concern is that this critical check-in restriction was not clearly communicated during the booking process through the third-party site. Had I known that arriving after 7:00 PM could result in being unable to access the property, I would have either made arrangements in advance or booked elsewhere. What was most disappointing was that despite explaining the situation and providing evidence that the booking confirmation did not clearly communicate these restrictions, the property was unwilling to refund the first night that we were unable to use. Future travelers should also be aware that access is controlled through a single key. The key is required not only to access your room but also to enter the building itself. This is especially important on Sundays and Mondays when the downstairs gallery is closed. If one person leaves with the key, the other guest can be locked out of both the building and the room. For two travelers with different schedules, this can be very inconvenient. The apartment may be a good option for travelers arriving during business hours and planning to stay together at all times, but anyone arriving in the evening should confirm access arrangements well in advance. I learned that lesson the hard and expensive way."
