This is a lovely modern hotel with beautiful rooms overlooking the sea. It has a nice outdoor infinity pool and a smaller 'foot bath' quieter pool a level down, but we found the areas around each pool a bit average. Staff are hit and miss - get the right person and they'll remember you and be friendly and helpful, otherwise they're a bit corporate and vacant. They charged us for a breakfast we never received on our last day, but otherwise the stay was lovely and the views from the room amazing. There's no easy beach access yet - the elevator is still being built - and unless you're a good walker (it's 45 minutes walk to the centre of Netanya) you'll need a car.

Booked two rooms (for a couple and two kids) for two nights at this hotel after hearing good recommendations from friends. After my stay, I can say there are both positives and negatives here, but overall, I don’t see myself recommending this place to others — especially after staying at many hotels across Israel. Rooms: The rooms are not well maintained. In one room, the TV remote control was missing, and once replaced, the reception was still poor and required another fix. The window also didn’t close properly — since the hotel is near the sea, we could clearly hear the strong wind howling through. A maintenance person came and made a quick fix but mentioned that a proper seal would require more serious work. In the second room, the faucet water pressure was very weak and the shower head splashed water all over. I reported it, but it wasn’t fully fixed during our stay. It’s also worth mentioning that no water bottles were provided in the rooms, which is something many hotels in Israel include by default — a small but meaningful detail that was missing here. Pool Area: This was the most disappointing part. The idea of an elevated infinity pool overlooking the sea is fantastic and could offer a very special experience — but the area is poorly managed. There are very few seating options, so everyone is squeezed tightly together on a small wooden deck, much of which isn’t shaded. The pool itself is quite shallow (about 1.15m at its deepest) and completely unshaded. Although there are “No Smoking” signs everywhere, guests smoke freely. Each time I had to personally find someone to handle it, and while staff did respond when I asked, I expected this to be enforced proactively. After having to deal with it repeatedly, I eventually gave up — which really affected the overall atmosphere. Food: The food was reasonable — some dishes were good, others not so much. Overall, it’s acceptable, but I’ve had far better dining experiences in other Israeli hotels. Other Issues: On weekends and holidays, two elevators are switched to “Sabbath mode,” taking them out of normal use. This causes heavy congestion with the remaining elevators, making it very difficult to go up or down floors during busy times. Positives: The staff truly try their best — the receptionists, cleaners, and other team members were polite and helpful. The underground parking for guests is also convenient and appreciated. Overall: A mixed experience at best. The staff’s efforts and the parking are positives, but the maintenance issues, poorly managed pool area, lack of proactive enforcement of smoking rules, and small missing touches make it hard to justify coming back. Unfortunately, I can’t see myself returning to this hotel.

We stayed here for 2 nights and had 2 room. The view is beautiful. The room and bathroom is decent. The breakfast is very very good. We liked the lobby a lot. The staff are not very efficient. Also, remember to ask them for 1/2 off parking stickers; they do not remind you. The surrounding area is nice and the rooftop restaurant has a great view.

We booked a room at the Vert Lagoon, Netanya from 24 August until 28 August 2025. We were staying here as we had a weeding to go to about 20 minutes from Netanya. Before we arrived we decided to upgrade to a Club room. This was after hearing from someone who had booked a standard room previously and was very disappointed with their room. We also requested and paid for early check in. We arrived at the hotel at 1pm. The queue in reception to book in was the longest I have ever seen in a hotel. We noticed there were only 2 people at the check in trying to book in about 40 people. We also saw that these two were very casually dressed, which we though looked very unprofessional. After standing in the queue for more than 20 minutes without moving we were getting worried as we needed to be at the wedding by 4pm. There was no separate desk for early check in. I told my partner to stay in the queue while I went to another area in reception that had only 3 people waiting. After approximately 10 minutes I spoke to the man behind the desk and he actually checked us in. Whilst we were in the original queue we noticed the large rug in reception was extremely dirty and the whole of the reception area very untidy. We were not shown to our room or offered a porter to take up our luggage, which we had to do ourselves. We are both in our late 70s and thought we did not need to be doing this. Especially as our room was costing us £430.00 per night. The queue for the lifts was almost as bad as the reception area. After about 10 minutes our lift arrived and we went to our room on the 11th floor. The main hallway carpet was filthy. When we got into our room we noticed that the wardrobe doors were chipped and looked in extremely bad condition. The rug on the bedroom floor was also stained. There were no slippers in the bathroom. No drinks in the fridge and the Nespresso machine was not working. As we were in a rush to get to the wedding we just thought we would tell them at the desk of our complains the following morning. Day 2. We went down for breakfast at 09.45. Once again we had to queue for 10 minutes before a very grubby looking man showed us to a table for 2. There was a table next to our where there had been a child in a high chair. On the floor there was so much food that there was a danger of someone slipping and injuring themselves. After a few minutes I asked one of the table clearers to clean the floor. She replied with, Its not my job. Eventually after about another 20 minutes someone came and cleared the mess. The dining room was packed with people. it was very difficult to help yourself to the buffet as people were pushing to get to the food, not at all relaxing. After breakfast we went to the desk to tell them of our grievances. Again the queue was ridiculous , so we decided to go to what we were told was a beautiful pool area. When we got there it was like a 2 star hotel pool area. There were no seats available and those people that were seated wer

Just back from this nightmare of a hotel. Check in was many hours too late and check out was going the same way had I not really objected. A hotel that is well build and has an amazing view but otherwise a creepy hotel. Too many people for the number of staff or simply no know-how? The food is creepy: nothing expensive to be seen on offer. Will not go into detail but take my word for it: they are saving on the food on offer.. The worst feature is check in and check out. The pool: overcrowded and towels were not there. Unpleasant! I shall never set foot in this hotel again, for sure and you should think about it twice. If you can avoid it, do.

We had one of the worst hotel experiences at Vert Lagoon Netanya. The check-in was a nightmare with repeated key failures, the kids’ playroom was tiny and overcrowded, and the pool was filthy, packed with people, and practically unusable. Meals were not suitable for children, and the service from staff was dismissive, unhelpful, and frustrating. The entire hotel felt unorganised , noisy, and overcrowded, more like a convention hall than a family vacation. The sea view is the only positive thing, but it doesn’t come close to compensating for the stress and disappointment. Absolutely not recommended.
