Courtyard Nashua

What an awful experience staying here. It feels like this hotel is cutting corners in a dangerous way. First, both elevator cars had a significant number of light blubs broken which apparently not one employee ever noticed or took action of (one with nearly half broken, the other with more than half broken). Told the front desk in person and via their texting not once, not twice, not 3 times, but 4 times. Nobody ever took action. After filing a complaint with Marriott Corp, the front desk manager gets back to me 3 days later.....guess what she verified? The lights are still out. Why should it take a complaint from a guest before the chief engineer takes action....doesn't any staff ever enter the elevator and say to themselves "Hey, this elevator car is kind of dark...wow there's a lot of broken bulbs." Apparently now they put a call into the elevator company to change the light bulbs. If you have visual impairments, bring a flashlight. Also another surprise - besides needing to run the shower 5 minutes to get hot water - is that the hotel rents out its pool to the British Swim School on Tuesday, Wednesdays and Saturdays (which I learned after Googling the school). So I guess staying there for 2 nights this week on Tues and Wed night meant my chance of going for a swim after working both days was not going to happen. There's no heads up about this on the website nor do you find out until you try and use the pool to see it filled with little children for classes and not the guests. Worst is the lack of basic courtesy to the guests. I left word in person, and received a text confirmation for the GM to call me to discuss this privately. Being a Platinum for Life member, I thought we could discuss this. He doesn't extend even basic respect to call me back. I will never stay at this hotel again.

one overnight on 10/13. I was too tired to ask for a new room as I arrived late. Strands of hair on the towels and toilet. Sink and counter pulling away from the wall. Mold spots in the shower. Also, the bed was askew on the frame. That corner of the frame sticking out just waiting to claim an ankle. By askew, I mean it was 6 inches diagonal on the entire frame. I stopped at the desk after checking out in the application and let them know. "Oh wow". No apologies, zero sympathy. One positive note. Cindy at the bar was very nice and a delight to chat with.

There was a huge wall outside our room so we had no view. Food options were fine and the bed was comfortable
