"Good in parts Stayed here with a group of travellers from a Great Rail Journey tour. First impression, the sea front setting is quite stunning. The rooms are bright and have various outlooks, some have sea views, others no view. The balconies are on the small side. Although bright, there is limited artificial light when it comes to the evening and I could only use one power point for charging various appliances. The breakfast buffet provided a good choice, but the dinners were less impressive. The anti pasta - three items served on the same plate, not ideal if the choice wasn’t to your taste, there was a choice on the second and third course, although portions on the main course tended to be small with a lack of vegetables. Dessert was buffet style with quite a good choice. With a number of large groups the dining room could be a little noisy in the evening."

"We stayed for one night in beautiful - less crowds a lot to see and less fancy. We stayed for one night at the very nicely redone monastery with all the comfort you need but not loosing its origin. Patio to have breakfast outside, frescoes on the ceilings of our room great location in the city center - to be recommended"

"We just left to return home. This B&B was a fantastic discovery. It feels like home, just 5 minutes from the center of Porto Cesareo. Beautiful property, meticulously maintained down to the smallest details, with parking. The rooms were spotless and smelled wonderful. Breakfast was top-notch, with delicious homemade cakes and tarts made by Antonella, as well as croissants, yogurt, fruit, and so much more. We were truly satisfied with everything. Thanks to Renato and Antonella for making us feel at home. They are such humble people. Thanks also to Antonietta for taking care of our room every day! We'll see you again as soon as we return to Puglia."

"The hotel itself was lovely, we were upgraded and very grateful. Concierge very helpful. The spa was nice, probably could do with slightly more beds but not really an issue. We had massages, it was good but not the best we’ve had in Puglia for the price, it was quite cold in the room which made it less enjoyable. Food at the restaurant was good but again not the best, they were accommodating of my vegetarian request for the tasting menu. Nardo itself is a great location as a base to travel around Puglia but not a huge amount going on."

It’s a place where you can truly slow down and enjoy the best of Salento in a simple, authentic way."

"After 4 days here is my statement. There are ants all over the pool, rooms are not cleaned until after 7 nights, you get charged for extra towels, it’s a hilarious mess of a place. People are nice but it’s not 4* American. Solid 3. Walk to beach is a hike. Buyer beware"

"I wonder how this local can have all those excellent reviews . The location as they say (untolerable term) will be also beautiful but the important thing in a restaurant is to eat good quality and taste food. Nothing of this in this restaurant. I would even say it bad we eat so badly (We are a couple that turns around the world). No attention to the client, we left some dishes And they never turned the word to ask us if it was all right. Absolutely to avoid"
