Shisui, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Nara Reviews

A fantastic gem which we we enjoyed every minute we stayed there. The choice of having a private onsen in our room was worth every penny of the premium we paid. I had my onsen dip three times a day and had never felt more relaxing and enjoyable. The hotel compound is so beautiful and all the staff were so accommodating. I would highly recommend this hotel who like spend a relaxing time in Nara.

The experience at this hotel was outstanding. From the check in process to the incredible rooms, to the peaceful location, I could not have asked for a better place to stay in Nara. Highly recommended

Overall, the hotel is new and looks very nice. For family traveling, it is not very convenient, especially if you have strollers as there are places without ramps, only stairs. There is not much amenities you can use in the property without paying extra. With such a high room price, you would expect more. The location is very close to the Nara park and you can see deers inside the property. The included breakfast can be better, I don’t think the portion is enough, but they do provide rice if you need more.

Located in Nara Park, within walking distance of Todaiji Temple, the hotel is very artistic. In addition to a luxury hair dryer for super hair care, the room facilities are about four stars. The room is a bit humid. The price of the hotel is based on the location and the brand. Overall, it is OK.

The service is very good and the hotel concept is also good, with a feeling of winding paths leading to secluded places. For this price, the hygiene and facilities cannot be considered outstanding, but the service is indeed up to the level of a luxury brand.

The hotel has a small hot tub. It is really comfortable to watch the deer taking a bath. It is very comfortable to take a short break. You have the chance to meet the deer when you go out. It feels like living in the deer's home.

Booked during the cherry blossom season, the hotel price has increased to a very unworthy price... The environment is very Japanese, but the check-in process actually took quite a long time, and the girl who checked in was obviously not very patient. The room is ok, just like some of the better rooms in Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Shanghai, China. The garden view faces a cherry blossom tree... It's also okay...
