We had a lovely few days staying in the studio unit. Brin and Biddy were wonderful - very friendly and hospitable, and we had some nice chats and a few wines on the deck out front overlooking the beach. The studio had everything we needed, and the breakfast fixings were spot on for us - cereals, toast, tea and coffee. It's on the ground floor on the street side of the house, with the front courtyard and beach on the other side easily accessible by going out a private side door and along a short path. I very much enjoyed, and photographed, sunrises and skyscapes from the beach. The location was perfect for us, as most of our activities were either around the Bay View and Eskdale area, or on the northern side of Napier.

The accommodation is pretty much as amazing as it looks in the photos. Beachfront with an uninterrupted view of the ocean, beach access, and a direct view of the sunrise. The studio itself looks over the garden but the beach side is easily accessible and super cosy with tables, chairs, and lots of space to get comfortable. It is clean, quiet, comfortable, everything works and it immediately felt like home. It’s a short and easy 8 minute drive into Napier town which was perfect for us since we prefer to be away from the noise. There’s also a great winery within walking distance with an excellent restaurant. The hosts Brin and Biddy were just amazing (Duke the sausage completed the package). Extremely kind, friendly, considerate and great to have a bbq and bottle of wine with if that’s what you want. Would definitely stay here on our next visit.
