Part of the Enro building has been renovated for lodging, making this a must-stay for travelers.
The room I stayed in was an attic room accessed by a ladder, but it was reasonably clean. There is also a restaurant in the Enro courtyard, so you won't have any trouble finding food.
The biggest drawback is that there are no showers or toilets inside the building, so you have to use the public toilets next to it. As the atmosphere of the Enro building is fantastic, how they overcome this is sure to affect the level of satisfaction.
Not for the general public, but for hardy travelers who don't mind a tough environment

Because I got to experience staying in a Tulou, a World Heritage Site, I had no complaints even though the shared shower rooms and toilets below the beach hut were outdoor public toilets.
Due to some issues, check-in was after 9pm, but the owner offered me tea (he's a professional tea master) and even cooked dinner (fried rice noodles) for me, since I was hungry.
The hospitality was very clear.

I decided to stay at this inn after seeing a Japanese person introduce it on their blog. In fact, the owner of the inn said that there have been a lot of Japanese people recently (lol).
Towels and toothbrushes are not provided, so you have to prepare them yourself.
There was a hair dryer in the room.
The staff were all very kind.
From Tulou Bus Station, it was 80 NTD one way by motorbike taxi. I recommend exchanging WeChat details so that you can ask the same person on your way back.

Fun experience staying in a tulou! As the listing says, it's a shared bathroom outside the tulou structure and a plastic bucket outside your room if you need to pee in the middle of the night and don't want to go out far. Bring your own toilet paper and soap just in case they've run out in the shared bathrooms. The room itself was nice and ours on the top floor had a window. Power and wifi worked great. The hostess was super kind and brought us to our room, made sure we could find our way back, and offered us tea. I'd recommend for the unique experience!

I had a fantastic experience sleeping in a little room on the top floor of one of the world heritage listed 'tulou' at Tianluokeng, specifically Wenchang Lou. It was a very authentic experience with villagers going about their daily business while catering to overnight and daytrip visitors too. I was well looked after in every respect, including dinner and breakfast.

I recommend this place to anyone who wants to stay in a real Tulou. The staff were very kind. The food was delicious. The shared shower room had no problems with hot water. There is no public bus, so we used a shared taxi. It is located deep in the mountains, so it takes time to get there. It is best to arrive at the inn early. Thank you.
