我訂的豪華房間，比較寬敞，該客棧大約二種房型：豪華標準間比普通標間大6平米多，傢俱多配了騰椅和茶桌。
客棧的位置就在米倉山景區遊客中心對面，相隔一條馬路，去米倉山景區遊覽是最方便的，從客棧走小路到遊客中心售票處大約六七分鐘。這裏距光霧山也很近，有交通車直達。距離18月潭較遠。因此遊覽米倉山景區和光霧山景區住在這裏最佳。
客棧還提供早餐和正餐服務。早餐每客10元：稀飯，饅頭，小鹹菜，一盤炒包菜（好吃）。正餐有菜譜，任你點。
年輕的小老闆待客熱情周到。我去遊覽十八月譚時不慎滑倒，把腳脖子扭傷了，傷得較重，但骨頭沒事。打電話給老闆，請他提前幫助買好雲南白葯噴霧劑，老闆早早就去葯店給我們買好了，還開了發票（這個多餘）。因此，晚上回到客棧我腳傷處就用上了葯。鑒於腳的傷情，原計劃轉天去米倉山景區遊覽去不成了，我在客棧養傷。中午我原打算用方便麪解決午餐；不料老闆為我送來了米飯及二個炒菜，且不收取餐費。在我腳傷的一天多的時間裏，我們的訂餐，老闆都親自送到我房間內，知道的腿腳不便上下樓梯。我們用完餐後，他又來把餐盤取回，樓上樓下來回跑。我從內心非常感謝。在此祝老闆生意興隆，全家安康！好人一生平安！

山裡人家客棧 老闆帶着走小路十分鐘到米倉山景區大門。客棧設施較全，電視空調熱水都有。就是靠馬路有點吵，此外衞生間是蹲坑。老闆一家很熱心，菜做的不錯，饅頭很好吃。
