The meals were consistently great, with generous portions and beautifully presented dishes, and the dining room had such a welcoming vibe. Namche is a bustling stop on the trail, but this lodge gave us a peaceful and comfortable haven both times we stayed. Gets quite busy during peak season and is full occupied so better order your dinner early and breakfast a day before and mention your time as suggested by the staffs. Food came out exactly at the time we ordered and was very good. Rooms were great. Amazing Mountain View."

Himalayan Lodge is perfectly located centrally, but at the same time just above the hustle and bustle of the city centre. The first time I stayed here was in 2022. That experience almost made me run to Namche Bazaar from Lukla in 2023 to secure yet another night at Himalayan Lodge. I am impressed by how much information Ang manages to keep track of while also being present to all of us who visit the place. Love the place!"
