Jal Mahal is located on the outskirts of Mysore but not too far from any of the attractions. They have started to charge a hefty 5,000/- if you use DSLR to take pics inside the resort. That's a bummer when you get to stay in a resort and not capture pics from your camera. Service is excellent and the staff is really supportive, quick and helpful. The rooms are not spacious enough but sufficient enough for a couple to enjoy their stay. The resort is good for a small peaceful walk, it has a good ambiance and I love it. This is the second time I am staying here in the last 3 years.

I have booked two rooms for 4 adults and 2 kids, i don’t know how it got reset and it was shown for 2 adults with two rooms, they have charged extra 2000 rs stating that the members are increased how can they do like that, two rooms means it by default 4 adults

This place is located on the outskirts and has a serene ambience with courteous staff. The rooms and bathrooms are very spacious and clean. The wardrobes doors were broken but aside from that, the stay was really nice!

Dinner was really good too bland to order we had ordered noodles it was too oily and afgan biryani was too bad no salt but bumper price one lays packet which is 20 is charged for 40 don’t eat anything in minibar section in room. Taps were dirty and non functional. Room cleaning done without notice think they need to have boards to clean nothing of those sort. Ac was not working properly. And staff are good including the kitchen staff very polite. Bumper price but too less facilities
