Bermuda Sands on the Boardwalk

Sleazy. Stayed one night, checked out. There was no external door. Anyone off the street could walk into the hotel. Inside the room a fort had a hole in it, there was no toilet paper holder, the furniture was stained, the couch had stuffing coming out of it. On the balcony which was carpeted the air conditioner was pouring water onto the carpet. Kids running wild up and down the halls. This is the hotel my husband picked for our wedding anniversary because it accepted dogs. Disgusting. Unsavory people loitering around the hall. Just don’t stay here.

Fluffy pillows huh. Well we don't know. My wife and I went to pay for a room. Lady working night at front desk was terribly rude and hated we were even there. She ran wife's card. And said card declined. I tried to talk but before I could finish one word. Like a child. She said card declined card declined card declined card declined. Over n over n over. Immediately following my wife calls bank n bank 5 state's away told my wife I see a transaction of $67.15. which is exactly the price of our room. At 104 ocean Blvd Myrtle Beach South Carolina. I tried to talk to the hatefullest woman I've ever seen working in public. And again card declined card declined card declined. Bank told my wife get them to fax a letter head that they do not have our money on record and bank said all I have to do is push a button and refund your money. That was 10 days ago. Morning afternoon night doesn't matter when my wife walks in and asks for manager or lady at front desk supervisor she hears he's not in back at 3:00 o'clock. Come in at 3:00. Oh he's in a meeting. Come back tomorrow. Tomorrow they tell her he'll be in at 3:00 and there we go again. We told the lady look bank said to fax. Not run. Not walk. Not drive. Hell you don't even have to put it on the leg of a carrier pigeon. Bank said fax them the letter head to our bank and they will immediately refund our money. The lady said I'm not authorized to do that he'll be in at 3. People looks like we have a failure to communicate. I know it's off season here but holy cow batman. You just can't take people's money in this day n age. And not expect some backlash. This runaround snow job were getting has been going on 10 days now.
